In the desert Southwest the meaning of a casita is a small but self-contained attached private space. This is a beautiful Casita consisting of a spacious modern bedroom with an ice maker, refrigerator and microwave. The private bathroom has a beautiful travertine snail shower for two. This casita is 2 miles to the Tonto National Forest and all it has to offer ,kayaking and Saguaro Lake . Ten minutes to the Superstition Wilderness . One acre lot sits low on a mountain with views of the desert.
“Caroline's place is really cute and a joy to stay at. There is everything you are going to need on site including a beautiful pool. We were visiting family and really enjoyed this home away from home. In the few days we were there we saw all types of wildlife walking through the mountain hills behind the property. Very calming and peaceful retreat.”

“This was the most amazing casita ever! I wish I could live there!!! The space was so nice and clean, super comfortable, and had everything you could think of including a walk-in closet. Having a washer & dryer in the space was great! Gail was very easy to communicate with and made the check-in/check-out process so smooth! I will definitely book the casita the next time I visit the area!”
We are glad to share with you our fully furnished and equipped home. It is ideally located in the east valley on the Tempe/Mesa border in a wonderful community with parks, lakes, and trails. The house is close to restaurants and dining in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. You’ll love the spacious layout, comfy beds, and high ceilings. It is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
“This was a good stay, and I would stay here again. The location was good for me, though if your goal is to go to Scottsdale every day, then you’ll spend about 40 minutes in the car round trip. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, and it felt safe to walk in the evening. It’s just a mile or two to a grocery store and other shops. The place was not fancy, but was very clean, and the kitchen had what we needed. There was a blender, microwave, oven, coffee maker, and toaster. There were all the usual utensils as well. It was over 100° while we were there, but the air-conditioning kept things nice and cold. One thing I would say is that the backyard pool is not as private as it appears in the photos. The retaining wall is a little low, and it overlooks the street. If privacy is a big concern, then just be aware that the neighbor can see over the fence if he or she chooses. One other thing to be aware of is that there is only one small TV. However, the Wi-Fi was good and we had no problem streaming four different devices simultaneously. The hosts were very nice and we’re very, very quick to respond.”
