Holiday rentals with a pool in Metropolitan city of Catania

Great villa with a lot of space and many bathrooms. Beautiful view! Host was very friendly, responsive and helpful. The actual place matched the photos and for sure worth the price we paid.

We were in transit and for us this was a wonderful "Tiny house" in a beautiful and quiet environment. What was really wonderful was the swimming pool that we immediately used after a wonderful tour of Sicily. And what a welcoming reception. The host was waiting for us and in the house something delicious was ready for us. The host even wanted to help us bring the suitcases to the house. The host responds quickly to questions and is always willing to help and advise you. So for us, a TOP experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Pippa. The keyring accidentally broke off the keys and Manuela even let us keep it - it was a love heart - so we will have a piece of Villa Pippa in our hearts and home forever 🥹 Pepe - their dog - is so cute! We loved villa pippa, we were gifted verdura & frutta & limoncello made in their home! My husband and I loved it, we were on the road most of the time seeing family but it was the perfect home to come back to. ❤️

Gorgeous house, excellent location, and such gracious hosts! Daniele and his parents were both lovely. The space is clean and has everything we needed. The pool is the perfect afternoon relaxing spot. It’s well kept and very clean, which we can only imagine a huge feat considering the volcanic ashes! We also went up Mt Etna with Daniele. He’s a great guide as well! Overall 10/10 recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

We loved our stay at Katia’s and Ricardo’s. They were so welcoming and accommodating, just as many of the other reviews have said. We had thunder storms the first day, and as my son had a broken arm and couldn’t get his cast wet they kindly let us check in early which really helped us. The apartment itself is really clean, equipt with everything you need. The garden space is just beautiful, the views, the fruit trees, the pool and hot tub! We really appreciated that space and was great for the children. You do need a car to get around, but they have a gated drive so you could park safely. They is so much to do in the surrounding area. We spent most of our time in Taormina, it was our favourite place. We also went to mount etna which our kids loved. If you have any questions Katia is very helpful, and very quick to respond. I would highly recommend for families or couples

(+) - very nice hosts - possibility to use the garden and pool - parking space - enclosed area - air conditioning - large space - mosquito screens ( unfortunately, some mosquitoes were always inside) - there were uncomfortable sleeping pillows, but a new one was delivered right after the reported issue (-) - I only used one pot that was dirty from the last guests - lots of dust behind the TV ( no thorough cleaning ) - once we left peanuts on the table ( in a bowl ), lots of ants appeared - No new sponges or cloths left behind ( some were old in the bowl under the sink ) These drawbacks didn't lower my rating, but these should not happen to Super Hosts The biggest drawback is the unpleasant smell in the bedroom ( it's hard to tell : mold, moisture, fungus, or something else ) . Summary : The owners, location, and surroundings of the cottage met my expectations. Unfortunately, the cottage we slept in doesn't deserve 5

The place is a dream! Pietro is an excellent host. He contacts proactively and gives feedback in a few minutes. He is super attentive and you can tell that the well-being of his guests is his top priority. He gave clear instructions for check-in/check-out and gave us many recommendations. Mr. Hagie still lives on the property. We have to give a special praise here! You don't even notice that he's there, and yet he's on the spot in a few seconds when something is needed! He is super friendly and it was a pleasure to interact with him. The outdoor area, including the pool, was consistently clean to perfection, as Mr. Hagie took care of it several times a day. Thank you for the great experience, I can only recommend the accommodation and Pietro as a host!

The flat is amazing!!!! We were 5 girls and loved our staying!! The host was kind, welcoming, accommodating. The place was spotless. The pool was clean and warm with a great view. The mount Etna view with the morning coffee is everything one can wish for!

We loved living in the apartment. It is very comfortable, spacious, quiet and in a nice location. Large garden with olive trees and parking space. There was everything we needed to cook ourselves. Stefano was very friendly and welcoming and easy to communicate with. We can recommend visiting Piazza Armerina and eating at trattoria del Goloso. And to visit Enna and their beautiful cathedral and eat at trattoria la Rustica. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Stefano!

Great accommodation, Ruben is very friendly and professional. The bed was very comfortable, the environment is quite quiet, everything was perfect! Thank you very much 🌋☀️

Gianni and his wife were extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment is wonderfully and authentically furnished. The kitchen offers everything you need. The bathroom was clean and the bed in the bedroom very comfortable. The place and the street were wonderfully quiet at the end of September and you could relax very well. All in all, a perfect starting point to discover the east coast of Sicily. Would highly recommend!

We had a great week. The property is a perfect base for excursions to Mount Etna or the Alcantara gorge. The house is beautiful and super well equipped, really everything you need is present. The pool is perfect despite you need a swim cap. The town itself is not special. It's like taking a time trip 70 years back in time. There is a lot of empty and closed. We only went here to the Pizzaria (Orso), which has great pizza's. Fortunately, there is plenty to do in Taormina, so it is not a loss.

We had a wonderful week at Paola's apartment. It was actually just as beautiful as shown in the pictures. You wake up with the sound of the sea, the sun over the sea, it's magnificent! There are, if you are willing to drive some car, many possibilities for nice excursions, a very nice sandy beach is just five minutes away (Agnone Bagni). The people you meet are very friendly, the food delicious, the climate in October perfect. Everything is available in the apartment, you can also cook for yourself if you like. Paola is a perfect host, there are many good tips and suggestions, she can be contacted at any time. Ketty, as a local contact, was also very friendly and helpful. We say: Thank you, it was beautiful. The only (small) drawback: The pool overall does not invite you to swim and play, it is somewhat outdated. However, there is the beach and the sea, which is a lot anyway

Thank you Salvo for your warm welcome! The place is charming in the middle of the fruit trees and very quiet with a beautiful view of Etna. We loved the freshly squeezed orange juice every morning and the croissants! We highly recommend it.

Marco was a fantastic host. He confidently guided us through the rather tricky entrance with all the help (the apartment is located in a very winding, incidentally not barrier-free complex, which in turn is in a kind of "gadet community" with many other holiday resorts and holiday homes, which can only be passed through a barrier and gates. We were incredibly lucky and were almost the only guests in the complex. So we had the great and very clean pool almost to ourselves. In general, everything was very quiet and peaceful and we were almost alone. The view from Marcos' terrace is a dream. Very, very fantastic view of the sea and Mount Etna. Depending on the time of day, some sun, some shade. Simply outstanding. The complex/apartment from the 60s has a great charm, even if it's a bit outdated;) Unfortunately, we searched in vain for access to the sea. Many paths were blocked or overgrown. Thank you, Marco!🫶

An amazing villa made even more memorable by Pino and his sister Viviana. They both made sure that my mother's birthday in Sicily is a trip we will never forget. We can't wait to come back very soon!

Very nice house in the countryside, nearby Siracusa, and perfect to explore the area. The kids loved the swimming pool. House nicely placed on a hill, with fresher air in the evening. Close to the house and in Floridia bakery, supermarket, etc. We enjoyed our stay there. Thanks also to Dario for the very professional welcome and all the details he gave to us.

Great place to stay for a big family. There are two separate apartments and each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom which is a plus. The pool is well looked after and overlooks the farm. The owners who came to look after the animals on the premises were very nice and accommodating.
