Beautiful 2 Bedroom Villa del Palmar Cancun Resort

Updated, very clean, great condo with decent views and several great options for restaurants on site. The host was a great communicator with during the confirmation process. It is extremely close to the ferry to Isls Mujeres which was awesome for a day trip, but it’s also north of downtown Cancun’s hotel zone so we drove to that area to just get off the resort one night. We preferred being removed from the sea of tourists in the hotel zone. The resort was very secure and we all felt extremely safe. The pools and beach were excellent. Our kids had a lot of fun and we enjoyed it too. The sargassum/ seaweed wasn’t a problem as they resort staff kept the beach clean constantly. The entire staff was very, very friendly and helpful. The valets our front were particularly nice and had great recommendations on restaurants. The only downside is that immediately after checking in, someone from the resort is in your face waiting to have you sign up for a presentation about buying a unit in the complex. We reluctantly gave in and while we got a free breakfast for the entire family and a discount card too, it wasn’t worth spending our morning in a sales presentation. Other people might feel otherwise but we just weren’t there to be sold on something.

The room was great, but the resort itself was huge. The help is very attentive and was greatly satisfied with everything they had to offer.
