Apartment holiday rentals in Mġarr

We were suggested to stay in another apartment due to some issues with the elevator. So I can't say much about the apartment we booked originally. But the communication was great, Amy is very friendly, answered all our questions and recommended some restaurants. :) The alternative apartment was big, clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and recommend Amy to everyone! :)

Ta Lonza apartments are a fantastic place to stay. Located outside of the bustling cities it is a peaceful stay. Golden bay being only a 15min walk away was another bonus. The hosts went above and beyond in offering advice and information not only about the apartment but also the area. The apartment looked exactly like it did in the photos and was very clean. Upon entering the property we were greeted by a bottle of wine a bottle of water and a punnet of strawberries which was fantastic. The hot tub was clean and already on and hot for our arrival which was perfect. I whole heartedly reccomend staying at Ta Lonza. Fantastic value for money and a very modern apartment with everything you could need. 10/10 Would stay again.

Really lovely studio apartment with a lovely view to watch the sun going down in the evening and the boats coming and going. Public transport almost outside the door with buses straight into St Paul’s bay, Buggiba, Sliema and Valletta. Balcony a real bonus. Everything you could need in the apartment, comfy bed, fantastic shower. Had a wonderful week thank you Tracey.

We fell in love with the apartment the moment we stepped in. Everything was neat and impeccably clean. A wonderful balcony, a large living room and two generous bedrooms with separate bathrooms which you can enter from the bedroom and a third bathroom you can enter from the living room. The kitchen has everything one would need. It’s a dream home. There are many restaurants, shops and cafes around, but most importantly - public transport stops with buses to take us anywhere on the island are just around the corner. The hosts were responsive and very friendly, the neighborhood is quiet (with occasional construction sites) and easy to walk around. When we booked, we decided to spend 4 days in this place and another 4 in another AirBnB near Valetta. I am now sorry we didn’t book this apartment for the entire week, as the quality of the places to stay around Valetta is a lot lower for the same amount of money and you can get everywhere by bus

Not got a bad word to say to be honest. The location was great, the flat was modern and clean. The only thing I would say is that the water pressure in the shower was weak and there was no shower curtain in the main bathroom. Also the ‘bath mats’ were actually door mats which wasn’t ideal.

Sandra's place was fantastic - we stayed here as a family with young children for a week in May and loved it. Sandra was so responsive especially when I had asked lots of questions when we arrived! I think the place is bigger than it appearing photos. Great locations right but supermarkets and restaurants. Hot tub on the roof was great for the kids - all round a super Air BnB!

This apartment is one of the nicest we’ve stayed in and is nicer than the photos. Everything was thought about so we didn’t want for anything. Really clean, spacious and we loved the sea view from the balcony. More private than some of the towns nearby. Nice retreat. Anne was a super responsive and helpful host.

I had a fantastic stay here! The apartment was just like in the pictures – clean, fresh and fully equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to both beach, restaurants and public transport. Matthew was very helpful and quick to respond, which made me feel welcome and safe throughout my stay. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others!

A lovely apartment right in the heart of Bugibba, easy walking distance to everything. Steve was very attentive and responsive. One morning we lost all power to the apartment so contacted Steve immediately. He arrived within minutes to check and explained to us that Malta often has blackouts & the entire area was out. He was very apologetic even though this was entirely out of his control. We explained it wasn't a huge issue and we were going out for the day anyway. About half an hour later we received a message informing us that they had issued a small reimbursement to cover the cost of our breakfast due to the inconvenience. A lovely gesture that was greatly appreciated.

Wonderful apartment with perfect view . Excellent communication with Lisa - good instructions and pictures to find property.We were able to leave luggage in secure room on last day . Apartment clean - no clutter - easy to cook in kitchen - good pressure shower . Bed comfortable and quiet at night . The view is stunning and made for very slow starts leaving the apartment . The location excellent - near the ferry - 10 mins to bus station . Multiple restaurants very close . The only negative is 79 steps but the apartment is worth the effort and I would definitely recommend

I recommend staying in the apartment. The owner was friendly and responsive, the flat was well equipped. The grocery shops and bus stops were very close. The neighbourhood was nice :)

Thomas is a wonderful (and a natural) host, great with communication from the start, always available and doing everything possible to make our stay comfortable. We loved his space, which is so tastefully done with all the necessary amenities both for long or short stays. Everything was spotless, the bed was comfortable and all in all it felt like home from home. The location is ideal if you don't want to be in the centre of busy Valletta, but only a 5 minute ride with the buses (plenty of them from the near by stop). Although the flat is on a busy road, as soon as you're in it is very quiet and peaceful with only the chirping of the sparrows and the church chimes as a soundtrack. Cafes, supermarket and restaurants only a few steps away from the flat, so very easy to get provisions and eat and drink out. Thank you Thomas, you've been amazing.

I reccomand staying at this place, I think it has a very strategic location if you want to visit also cozo or comino island,s of course blue lagoon, or popeye village, all are very close. We had whole flat just for us, so there is a privacy and flat has a beautifull terrace, where you can see gozo and comino islands just so close to you:).

A top place to stay that is really clean & spotless with beautiful views! As a result, the evening hours in the hot tub were breathtaking 🌅 Nothing was missing from the equipment and you felt right at home! 🏠 Highly recommend it to anyone! (:

The location was good with great views across the harbour to Valletta and of Birgu next door to us. Birgu was a short walk from the apartment and Valletta easily accessed on the Three Cities ferry. We all enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and furnished with great attention to detail. Felt at home right away. The absolute highlight was the huge terrace, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Ron was always available and responded immediately to any messages. I’d definitely come back!

Stunning apartment in the heart of St. Julian’s. Yuliia was extremely helpful and responsive, will definitely be coming back here when coming to Malta and could not recommend more highly to others thinking of staying!

Excellent host and great find, with an amazing hot tub!

Great location. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Ferry to Valletta and loads of tours all walkable. Apartment very comfortable for 4 adults both bedrooms en-suite. Fantastic views from balcony and having a hot tub was an added bonus. Jean-Pierre is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. Lots of recommendations. Lovely welcoming basket of fresh fruit, pastries, water and sparkling wine!!

The apartment was very nice. The area is super quiet so we were spending a few days relaxing on the terrace and enjoying the tub. It’s a different one compaired to the pictures but 2 people could fit in easily. We didn’t have a rental car, but there were plenty parking spots right before the building. It’s an easy walk to several Minimarkets, Lidl is also reachable by bus or a 25 Min. walk. Nearby are Ggantija Temples, the Ta‘Kola windmill and the little market place right in front of one church are worth a visit.

Such an amazing place to stay, with a great view and only 10 minutes from the beach
