Villa holiday rentals in Mikros Gialos

We had a great stay at this particular AirBnB. The owner welcomed us personally and showed us around. Everything was clean and in a good condition. We had some trouble with the locking of the balcony door. The owner responded right away and didn’t make us responsible. Big recommendation!

We loved our stay here. The host was very responsive and swiftly provided solutions to us throughout our time. The location is very tranquil and peaceful and the view is really beautiful. We felt very comfortable from the outset. Thank you 🙏🏻

Amazing house in a peaceful neighbourhood just outside of Sivota which was easily walkable. The house was beautiful, clean and perfect for our family of 5 but could have equally been perfect for a set of friends. Clean pool, lovely sofa area outside with fridge and large bedrooms.

We really enjoyed staying here! The view from the balconies is amazing and the house is very spacious. It is close to Nidri and restaurants, it is walkable but a bit steep, since we had little children we had to take the car (which was also no problem and only was a 5 min. drive). The hosts are very friendly and will help you wherever possible! Would really recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at this villa. It offers beautiful views, a lovely swimming pool, and a peaceful atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing break. The villa was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Erez was highly professional, welcoming, and very responsive. We also really appreciated the mid-stay cleaning service, which was a thoughtful touch that made our experience even better. Just a heads-up: the road to the villa is quite rough and takes about 20 minutes from the bay, even though the distance isn’t far. It’s a bit of a challenge each time, but once you arrive, it’s well worth it. Highly recommended for a quiet and well-organized stay in Sivota!

I am left speechless! This villa is absolutely spectacular with breathtaking views. The staff were incredible, very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were immaculate, so clean and very comfortable. I loved drinking my morning coffee while watching the spectacular view. It looked as if it was painted, so magical and calming. The distance to mayor attractions and the beach were very close and convenient. I am looking forward to visiting again. I fell in love with this Villa. I highly recommend this place!!!

Really nice villa in a great location, just over an hour from the airport. It’s a 5 min drive from the villa to Sivota - a lovely harbour with plenty of restaurants - including a couple that did vegan options!! There are a few Boutique shops and a Pharmacy too. It’s a 20 minute walk down if you want to have a drink. Pool is v nice and you can swim in the sea as there is a private path down to the rocks at the bottom, but it is steep In places! Caution needed. There was a very sweet pebble beach further on (20 min walk) also a bit of a scramble, but lovely. Ram is a very good host, he sent us so much useful information and came back very quickly to any questions we had. The villa has a lovely view over the Bay - everything very nicely done inside and very clean. Management Company was also very reliable with advice and costings for boat trips, restaurants, beaches etc. Would happily go back. Just the break we needed.

What a villa! Great location on a beautiful island. Very peaceful and has all the facilities you would ever need. The pictures don’t do it justice and i’d highly recommend the villa and the excellent hosting of Spyridon who was amazing throughout. Good communication recommending places to go/eat as well as being very responsive to any questions or requests. Possibly one of the best villas i’ve ever stayed at.

I cannot speak highly enough of Villa Maura. Myself and my family, six of us in total had a fantastic stay here. Extremely comfortable, a perfect size to accommodate all of us, good sized bathrooms all with walk in showers. Good facilities throughout and wonderfully clean and tidy. Paul was fantastic from start to finish. Very helpful and informative. We didn't have any issues or problems, but if we did I'm sure they would have been attended to promptly. The pool is a good size and in a great location to make the most of the view. The sun loungers are very comfortable which is always an added bonus. Even though the pictures look stunning, I promise that the view is even better in person - Trust me! Absolutely breath taking waking up to that each morning. A car is essential (although you can get taxis from Nydri if you look into it) but it's only a 10mins drive down to the town. We will most definitely be returning here 100% - Wonderful holiday at a wonderful villa.

We were a group of 6 celebrating a 60th birthday. The villa was perfect for our needs - spacious and comfortable with a lovely pool area for evening dining and daytime relaxing. The villa was clean on arrival and was cleaned really well during our stay. Fern was helpful and responsive throughout. We had a great holiday!

Dimitria's place was indeed a Dream house. We were so relaxed there, it was hard to drag ourselves away to visit the beach or restaurants. Very clean, stylish, remote and peaceful. Stunning views and a clean pool to have a refreshing dip in. Communication from Dimitria and Natalie was really efficient and very friendly. We love Kefalonia and would definitely book to stay again. Thank you for a fabulous holiday.

Really nice place. Peacefull and intimate, with a spectacular view . We enjoyed it so much , and surelly will be an option when we'll be back on this beautifull island. Highly recommend it.

The villa is utterly fantastic. A beautiful home with plenty of space for our party of six. The home was well stocked with amenities, such as towels and loo roll. We loved our stay.

We had the most wonderful week staying at Evagelos’ villa in Agios Nikitas. Everything was perfect, the beautiful terraces (one terrace overlooking the bay, perfect for day and evening, and another terrace by the pool where we made good use of the BBQ), lovely interiors and bedrooms, plenty of towels and toiletries and just a really easy and enjoyable stay for our family of 8! Evagelos was really helpful and provided us with lots of information and interesting history about the surrounding area. It was a real pleasure to stay in this beautiful villa. This villa really lives up to its name Ionian Calm. Beautiful location with great view, very quiet and private. The villa had everything we needed, was perfectly clean, the pool was great (also very clean) and the owners and their team were really helpful and easy to contact if you need anything. We could very happily have stayed for another week!

Our stay was fabulous and the villa exceeded our expectations with a wonderful pool and an ample sized terrace. Daphne was amazing and went above and beyond to help with all our requests. However if you are not great with walking up and down steps, of which there are 140! the path down to the harbour is a little challenging so we had to resort to hiring a car as we are 3 mature ladies!! The car rental was beautifully organised by Daphne with no problems at all. We had an amazing week and will definitely book the villa again.

Wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Anastasia war eine bezaubernde Gastgeberin und hat uns sogar mit lokalen Leckereien überrascht. Der Pool ist herrlich und die Außenanlagen lädt dazu ein gemütlich zu grillen. Der Ausblick auf den Hafen ist einmalig. Unser Aufenthalt war perfekt und wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen.

This villa is perfect, set in mature grounds filled with jasmine and pool with a spectacular view. Walking distance to Sparkcoha ( not spelling that correctly!) with its white cobbled streets and local taverna. Perfect. Villa took a bit to find as the GPS took us away from it but Kostas was on hand to give us directions. Vathy is a short car ride away and not to be missed so suggest hiring a car. Kostas will give you contacts, also hiring a small motor boat is the best way to see the coast. A fabulous day out on the pond-like Ionian Sea! There is much construction going on throughout the island, so need to be prepared for that. Meganisi is a gem and we had a fantastic break. The house is built well with big spacious rooms, all with air con. And the pool was a godsend…with temps in the early 30’s in early June is was hotter than expected so the pool was wonderful Thanks to Kostas and his team for a lovely stay

Das Haus von Stathis ist fantastisch. Sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt, toll war auch die Zwischenreinigung. Das Haus ist stilvoll renoviert, man fühlt sich wie im Neubau. Eine wunderbarer Ausblick auf das Meer und die Hügel der Umgebung. Das kleine Bergdorf hat eine traditionelle Taverne und ein Café, alles fußläufig erreichbar. Wir werden wiederkommen.

We had a great stay and loved our week in the villa. The view is amazing especially as the sun sets. A great location to walk into the local town or local beaches. The hosts were friendly, helpful and so kind. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to others

We had a wonderful week at Papadato's villa. Located just above the town of Vathy (approx. 10 min walk) it has beautiful views of the sea and surrounding greenery. The house itself is really well equipped with air con in every room - a real blessing as Meganisi can get VERY hot. The outdoor area is huge with a big eating space, gas BBQ, pool and deck. It get's sun for the entire day but the space under the pergola gives lovely shade. The pool is a great size and the outdoor shower is brilliant to cool off. The cleaner half way through the week to change the towels and sheets felt like an extra bit of luxury too! There is an identical villa on the plot above so it's great for multiple families on holiday together (as we did) but they've been carefully designed so you don't overlook one another and are very private. If you are looking for a high spec, clean and modern villa on a beautiful island then look no further than Papadato's villa!

We are a family of 4 including 2 kids and we had a fantastic stay at the villa in Palairos from 2–6 May 2025. The host, Apostolos, was excellent—welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout. The villa itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. All amenities were in perfect working order, and the view was stunning. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. I would also recommend renting a car to fully explore the beautiful surrounding coastline!!

Sehr nette Gastgeber. Wir bekamen eine gute Einweisung und hilfreiche Information für Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Stränden und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Der ausgesprochenen Einladung zum Essen ( einheimische Spezialitäten ) konnten wir leider aus Zeitgründen nicht folgen. Das Haus verfügt über eine sehr gute Ausstattung. Man fühlt sich gleich wie Zuhause. Es ist alles sehr gepflegt und ordentlich. Die Lage ist ruhig mit toller Aussicht. Zudem wurden Handtücher und die Bettwäsche nach 3 Tagen gewechselt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und wollen gerne wiederkommen. Als einzigen Kritikpunkt empfanden wir die schlechte Wlan-Verbindung. Insbesondere im Außenbereich ist ein mobiler Datenempfang besser. Alles in allem eine echte Empfehlung. Patrik und Family
