Explore the local neighborhood where oak trees drape the town among charming historic homes. Numerous restaurants, pubs, coffee and gift shops are easily within walking or biking distance. New Orleans French Quarter, the Audubon Zoo, Aquarium of the America, The National WWII Museum , even Jazz Fest and Mardi Gras are less than 45 minutes away!!

Long Branch A-Frame

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Just 35 miles North of New Orleans nestled just minutes away from downtown Covington and all the Northshore has to offer. Live music, fine dining, cycling and shopping are just a few of the many things to do. Your stay includes two paddle boards so if water exploring and sun bathing on the scenic Bogue Falaya sounds up your alley then look no further. Your just a few miles drive from the new public kayak launch that leads to multiple sand bars.

Little lodge

The Little Lodge is located on a 7 acre gated estate in a wooded bedroom community south of the Village of Folsom. The lodge is on the property beside the main house facing an one acre horse paddock and overlooking a 3 acre pond, dock and gazebo. We are horse friendly. Attractions nearby include; Global Wildlife Center, an Alligator farm, the Bogue Chitto State Park, old town of Covington with antique shops, art galleries, and fine dining. We are only 45 miles from Downtown New Orleans. l

Over the Moon Farm, Relaxing with the Horses

Enjoy the picturesque view at Over the Moon Farm, a bustling horse farm situated in the middle of 30 acres in Covington, LA north of New Orleans. A short drive from the farm will take you to Abita Springs, a quaint town with restaurants and the Abita Brewery, Old Covington filled with local shops and restaurants and several horse facilities nearby. Spend the day touring in New Orleans and unwind in the evenings relaxing on one of two porches overlooking horses grazing in the pasture.

Sunhillow Farm Getaway

This secluded 3-bedroom cabin has everything you need for your perfect Louisiana-getaway. No traffic, noise or people. Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.

Built in 1906, located in Historic Downtown Covington. 1 block to the Tammany trace trailhead, 2 blocks to the Southern Hotel and 45 minutes to New Orleans and airport! The Cottage is quiet & cozy, you can relax in the courtyard or play bartender in our new outdoor Irish Pub. For vacation or business, weddings, birthdays, weekends away, you can walk to our river side parks, concerts, festivals, parades, dining & shopping.
