Heidi Apartment

Heidi is an apartment-style room connected to the egg-shaped main lodge, perfect for families or groups. With high ceilings and a spacious living area, it can host up to 8 guests. White wood walls and warm sunlight create a relaxing space. The large loft has two double beds and is accessible by two staircases. The kitchen and large dining table make it ideal for meals or small parties. Two entrances—one from outside and one from the main lodge—make moving around easy. Dog-friendly (optional).

The best things about Alpha Lodge are its wonderful & welcoming atmosphere and easy going country hospitality. The close proximity to the lifts & the Madarao Kogan Hotel and its amazingly relaxing Onsen (hot spring bath), is just an easy 200m walk and the views are amazing. Alpha Lodge was built around 40 years ago so you would expect that it is a bit tired in appearance but we are transforming bit by bit. Two Bedroom Suite With Private Bathroom

We are a family run mountain lodge in a beautiful, isolated location. The lodge is in a national park, riverside, at the base of mountains towering 1300m above. Hiking trails start at the front door, swimming in the river during Summer is deliciously refreshing. See the seasons changing in Autumn on a walk to Ichinokura (2 hours round trip) or Tanigawadake Ropeway (10 mins walk) or climb Mt Tanigawa from the base. The snow in Winter is of excellent quality and plentiful.

Room 101 has no toilet on the same floor; please use the shared toilet on the second floor.

This room has delightful views of the valley and surrounding Japanese Alps and has western bedding in a Japanese Tatami room. It is a great option for families with the bunks, double bed and your own private enuite. We are just 100M from the slopes and 50m from the closest natural hot water onsen. There are newly renovated share bathrooms for you to use as well and the option to use any of the 13 public Onsens in town.

Villa Nozawa - Japanese Accommodation Ensuite

This twin room has delightful views of the valley and surrounding Japanese Alps. It has super comfy futons with its own private ensuite. This style of accomodations is great option for a couple or friends wanting that extra privacy. We are just 100M from the slopes and 50m from the closest of the 13 natural hot water onsens in town. (if you prefer western style bedding please ask at the time of booking)
