Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! Didn't want to leave!!! 😊 Thank you Joanne for your exemplary hospitality!

Cozy Lake Placid escape!! Easy walk to Main Street. Spotless and comfortable with lots of kitchen supplies: condiments, spices, etc. Andrew also provided coffee, bagels, and eggs. Responsive with clear instructions. Highly recommended and would stay again :-)

Heather, Thank you so much! It is amazing how peaceful the house and that giant yard was, and yet we were so close to town. Everything was exactly as you described from the massive fenced in yard for the dogs, to the spacious house that easily allowed everyone to visit comfortably. We walked to town several times, and to grab the delicious food from the Pickled Pig. This house was absolutely perfect for our needs, thank you!

Great place to stay if skiing at whiteface! Robert and Nancy were extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to lake placid.

Our first time at Lynda's home in the woods. Place was exactly how described! Was very cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, very private and close to skiing and town. We enjoyed to sauna every day. We got to relax and really enjoy ourselves. Lynda was very quickly to respond and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely plan to go back, we loved it!

Our group had an all-around incredible experience at this house. The location is unbeatable, the property was beautiful and the hosts were very attentive. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to beautiful Lake Placid!

Lovely home in a lovely setting. The view is breathtaking and Barbara has outfitted the space woth everything you could possibly need. She is extremely thoughtful and personable. The area is great for hiking and outdoor activities but is also near Middlebury College and Burlington.

Great location from the town, and from nearby trails. Very clean place and easy to check in. Nice to have a fenced in yard for the dog and hot tub amenities.

My 13 friends and I recently took a fall break trip to Adirondacks, and it was the most amazing, relaxing time thanks to Antoine’s beautiful airbnb. As soon as we walked in, we were brought into another world—with the most eclectic artwork and interior design—and yet still felt at home. Antoine was the most welcoming and responsive host we could have possibly gotten; he even provided us with tips on possible local adventures! I absolutely loved making memories with my best friends in all of the rooms (and the place is massive!) Overall, this was the most fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this airbnb to anyone looking to enjoy their trip to the Adirondacks!

Ray’s place was just perfect for our stay! The view is absolutely stunning. The space worked well with two completely separate sleeping spaces and bathrooms. And it was dog friendly. We hope to stay there again.

Overall, the experience was wonderful. The home was clean, accessible, and surrounded by great nature. The host, Weizhong, was responsive and clear on everything that was needed and things we had questions about.

We so enjoyed staying in this spacious apartment! The view was spectacular! Andrew and Devlin were friendly, responsive hosts. It was awesome relaxing in a quiet, comfortable living room complete with a big screen TV. They thought of everything guests would need from a fully furnished kitchen to heated bathroom floors, bathroom toiletries, and ample towels and storage. We were with my 91-year-old mother and she absolutely loved the convenience of the floor plan. Thank you so much for hosting us - we would love to come back and we definitely recommend it to others heading to Lake Placid region.

Genuinely even better than anticipated. Place is bigger than it looks, very spacious, clean, all amenities, great location, quick response from hosts. Loved every moment.

We had a great stay! We meant to stay an additional night, but since it wasn’t available, staff helped us find a room at another nearby hotel! Real life savers. Our kids loved their little crows-nest bedroom, and the pool! Kitchen and extra linens were well-stocked. Tons of space to spread out, and great views. Not all the windows have curtains, and it is in the middle of a motel complex, so felt a little exposed, but I realized in the morning the windows are tinted! Or at least, it was so nice I couldn’t help but relax :) Thank you again to super helpful staff!

Our group had a great time at Anna & JP’s cabin. Not only was the cabin comfortable & filled with amenities - it is right in the middle of all of the best trail heads! 5 stars

Cabin was everything I was looking for, super cute and cozy! I literally couldn’t believe it was exactly as described, so beautiful! Just minutes away from Main Street Lake Placid, minutes away from Whiteface mountain (Ski/Hiking). Definitely will be coming back, Thanks Montana!

The Minouche was exactly how it was described and even better in person. Marilyn was a thoughtful and helpful host, providing excellent suggestions for the area. We really enjoyed the space and the beautiful views from any angle on the property. We highly recommend this stay to anyone!

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

Property is gorgeous with a beautiful view! It’s a walkable distance to Main Street and all it has to offer! Vadim was an amazing host!! Very clear with communication and willing to help with whatever we needed! He was very friendly and kind!

My family & I absolutely loved our stay at Lewis Brook Lodge! I have stayed in many Airbnb’s and this was one of my favorites! The house itself is so cozy, it felt just like home. I have never stayed in a house that had so many things available! Examples: endless snacks, a coffee bar, keg, drinks, fresh bread, homemade pancakes, eggs, cheese, etc. We did not have to go anywhere for breakfast- everything was right there for us! Rebecca even bought us more chocolate for s’mores without us even asking! My kids were so excited 😊 The backyard was a dream. It was like an oasis- koi pond, fire pit, gas fireplace, the flowers, butterflies flying all around, & especially the beautiful brook! My kids loved playing in it. My husband and I played corn hole that was provided as well. We were within walking distance to one of the restaurants we ate at (Ice Jam Inn). We visited Ausable Chasm, The Wild Center, found a fishing spot, etc. I could go on forever! 10000/10. Thank you, Rebecca! 🥰

We enjoyed our stay at Sarah's Place. Great location - right between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Very easy to find. Clean, cozy, welcoming! It had everything we needed. The king bed was very comfortable. All was neat and tidy! Our dogs seemed to enjoy the space also - the sweet back porch and nice yard for dogs to explore were perfect for us. We didn't get to use the outdoor grill or fire pit - maybe next time!
