The most unique feature of this inn is its one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP from design to production, featuring a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can only have here, surrounded by the gentle warmth of a wood-burning stove. Inside the room, there is also an irori (traditional hearth) characteristic of a traditional Japanese house. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot or grilling skewers while sitting around the irori (traditional hearth). *Please bring your own ingredients and cooking utensils, such as skewers. The inn is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled among the mountains in Misasaki, Okayama Prefecture. Right nearby is Nishi-Awakura Village, which is gaining attention as a village focused on regional revitalization and attracting new residents, and which offers a scenic, nature-rich satoyama landscape. This is a renovated one-story Japanese house surrounded by quiet nature. Limited to one group per day, the entire house can be used by one group of guests. It is a house with a nostalgic feel, with fusuma-e (sliding door paintings) and paintings by the host's grandparents, and furniture that has been used for a long time. You can see the courtyard from the living room and the veranda. When you take a walk in the surrounding area, which is rich in nature, you can experience the seasonal scenery, such as the grass and flowers, birds and insects, the wind and the starry sky. Please use it not only as a base for your trip to Tottori, but also as a relaxing country home. The host will guide you through check-in in person. Check-in time is from 3 pm to 9 pm. In accordance with the Hotel Business Act, you will be asked to fill out a guest register (name, address, contact information) at check-in. You can enjoy your time at your leisure in the guest house and its surroundings. With convenient transportation to Harima, Okayama, and Tottori, you can enjoy your travels from here. We recommend that you come by car. We do not provide transportation.
