The most unique feature of this inn is its one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP from design to production, featuring a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can only have here, surrounded by the gentle warmth of a wood-burning stove. Inside the room, there is also an irori (traditional hearth) characteristic of a traditional Japanese house. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot or grilling skewers while sitting around the irori (traditional hearth). *Please bring your own ingredients and cooking utensils, such as skewers. The inn is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled among the mountains in Misasaki, Okayama Prefecture. This is a renovated one-story Japanese house surrounded by quiet nature. Limited to one group per day, the entire house can be used by one group of guests. It is a house with a nostalgic feel, with fusuma-e (sliding door paintings) and paintings by the host's grandparents, and furniture that has been used for a long time. You can see the courtyard from the living room and the veranda. When you take a walk in the surrounding area, which is rich in nature, you can experience the seasonal scenery, such as the grass and flowers, birds and insects, the wind and the starry sky. Please use it not only as a base for your trip to Tottori, but also as a relaxing country home. The host will guide you through check-in in person. Check-in time is from 3 pm to 9 pm. In accordance with the Hotel Business Act, you will be asked to fill out a guest register (name, address, contact information) at check-in. We use a vacant old-fashioned house as an accommodation. It is a calm environment because it is located in a rural area. It is located roughly in the center of Tottori Prefecture, so I think it is convenient for sightseeing by car. Nearby tourist spots include Aoyama Goshou Furusato Museum, which is a 9-minute drive away. The nearest supermarket and convenience store are 5 minutes away by car. We recommend that you purchase food and other items in advance. If you want to eat out, you need to go to Kurayoshi Station or Yura Station. ◼️ Building The exact age of the building is unknown, but I think it is over 50 years old. It is an old-fashioned Japanese-style building. The bathrooms and tatami mats are new, but everything else is the same. ◼️ Access For access other than by car, it is best to come by train to Kurayoshi Station or Yura Station and take a bus or taxi. The nearest bus stop is Anazawa on the Akasaki Line. Buses do not run at night.
