Waterfront holiday rentals in Mission Bay, San Diego

What a wonderful place to call home for a week. We love the area, and being in the quieter, residential portion made the stay even better. Neighbors were friendly and helpful. Walkable to restaurants. Right next to the beach. And quite reasonably priced for the duration. Being able to stock up groceries and eat at the house was a major determining factor. Hosts were super responsive and timely in their delivery of access instructions. We will definitely be staying here again next year. Thank you, Janet & Scott, for being wonderful hosts!

This was one of the best AirBnB experiences that we have had in quite a while. The condo was just as described. The area is very walkable and there are enough local businesses to keep you busy for a long time. By car, the area attractions are all less than 20 min away, and Sea World is only 5 min away. The laundry allows you to pay by phone so you don’t have to scrounge for quarters. The one note is that it was very difficult to park in the garage and we only have a midsize station wagonesque car. If we had a full sized SUV, it would have been a problem.

This is probably one of the best airbnb properties I have stayed. Not only was the property pristine and clean but also the location was amazing. You are literally steps from the beach, ocean, bay as well as the surrounding areas of Mission Beach which offers plenty of things to do. Loved the hot tub which was amazing to use both day and night to look out to the ocean jetty as boats come in and out. I really enjoyed also the fast wifi to work remote with no issues, you have your owned assigned parking space and how secure and safe I felt with the locked gate coming onto property. Lastly the bed was very comfortable which provided a good night’s rest. I would highly recommend this property as everything was perfect. The host was very responsive as well so anything you need was answered in a reasonable amount of time. Awesome place and experience!

Perfect place to stay for business in downtown and close to family living in San Diego and southern Orange County area.

Perfect location if you have small kids! The park is right out your front door with a calm beach attached. We were able to fit our inflatable toddler bed in the room no problem. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Beautiful apartment just as pictured. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is clean and spacious. Mark was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. Great location not too far from La Jolla.

Perfect spot for a lil beach getaway. One block to the ocean beach surf park and plenty of stuff within a ten min walk from the house. Great location and the house had everything needed. Clean and tidy. Highly recommend

Fantastic week in San Diego! Our two families and our dogs spent a great week at Adam's place in Mission Beach. The location was perfect, right in between the ocean and the bay, so either are only a couple minutes walk. The house was very comfortable and offered many amenities. We especially appreciated the outdoor space - rooftop living, ground floor patio, multiple balconies. The beds were comfortable and the layout offered good separation between living and sleeping areas. There are three flights of stairs which we didn't mind at all, but anyone with mobility issues would have trouble with that. Our trucks wouldn't fit in the garage (we were aware of this before coming down) but found ample overnight parking nearby on El Carmel Pl. We mostly walked everywhere because there is so much so close, but also brought a couple cruisers down so we could ride beach side or bay side if we wanted to. Highly recommend this home for a beach vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful studio just steps from the beach—only about 15 feet away! The space is well-equipped with plenty of amenities and surrounded by family-friendly activities. It’s perfect for a family of four, especially with young children. The studio includes a pack and play and high chair, which made traveling with our toddlers so much easier. Everything was very clean and peaceful, and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. Ginger was kind, helpful, and very responsive. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful trip! We spent our week at this beach house as our kick off to summer vacation with the kids. It has amazing walkability and great for families. We made core memories here with cousins and plan to stay again! Thank you!

The place was perfect and extremely family friendly. My kids loved the place and they are not kidding about the house being stocked with everything you need to cook with! Right on mission Beach, the pictures accurately conveyed the size and we comfortably slept 10 people.

We loved our stay! The location was a few minutes walk to the beach, and the patio made for a nice gathering space. Erin was extremely responsive. She quickly answered any questions, gave good clear instructions, and helped us in many ways. We were provided with everything we needed for a fun day at the beach!

This place was in a great location lots to do and it was very well kept up and very clean. We all definitely enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay again. My kids really enjoyed the paddle boards and boogie boards and all the sand toys that they provided.

We had a great stay at Bill's place! It looked just like the pictures and was very clean and well-stocked! The location was perfect and was in a very walkable area. Bill was super responsive and accommodating, and we'd definitely stay at his place again!

My family and I fell in love with this beautiful place. We spent a few days relaxing, listening to the waves of the sea 🌊 with incredible views and access on foot in front of the beach🏖️. The apartment was so close to all the restaurants and easy to get to anywhere within around 15 minutes drive. Tina was an amazing host and on hand to answer any questions.

Our family of four stayed for a week. It’s a great area away from crowds. The place has everything you would need. A plus to have beach gear to borrow during our stay, chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, and sand toys. We had a small/mid size suv we were able to fit in garage, we had to get a little creative on how to get in and out of the car but it was not an issue. I would book this place again, you can’t beat the location if you want to be in the quieter section of mission bay. Communication from host was great.

It's all about the view: the bay, the ocean, Belmont can all be viewed from the balcony. The walking/biking trail around the bay is just outside your door and Kevin has beach bikes available to use. We rode often in the morning, around the bay, to the ocean and then strolling along the ocean. Very relaxing!

Location of this Condo is right by Crystal Pier and surrounding restaurants. It served it's purpose for my family and I. It was myself, mother, 4 teenage kids and 6 month baby. We walked the board walk before relaxing at the beach, baby fell sleep during the walk so we took him to where other family was already posted for beach day. When he woke up, we did not have a bottle but luckily the condo unit was 5 minutes back up to the room and back. With a 6 month or infant toddler age your going to have to be carrying around necessities the location of this unit minimized alot of this. Konos was a great place, they serve breakfast all day which is a win for me. There is a bar called The Hideaway, didn't get a chance to go in but they are very busy which in turns means they have to restock their supplies. This is done early morning so workers and their equipment can be heard, this did not bother us but maybe concern for those with good hearing. Our stay was great I definitely recommend.

When we walked in, we instantly knew this was going to be a great weekend getaway. The location is fantastic and the views from the room are stunning. Just steps away from the beach, we'd definitely come here again. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance. Plenty of things to do. Highly recommend this spot for couples, solo travelers, or friends looking for an escape without needing to drive everywhere.

Amazing stay and very well decorated unit with beautiful view. The place feels very cozy and homey and it has everything that you need. Will definitely stay there again
