Holiday rentals with a patio in Mission District, San Francisco

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described— amazing view of SF, great interior and ambiance, and everything thoughtfully set up. The neighborhood was quiet, with easy access to pubs / restaurants / landmarks. Cord was responsive and kind, making check-in smooth and communication easy throughout :)

Over the past few years I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs, but Renzo’s place truly stands out. It’s a perfect, top-tier experience from start to finish. The stylish interiors, modern appliances, and thoughtful design reflect a beautifully renovated space. What really impressed me, though, was Renzo’s hospitality: the little touches and personalized care made me feel genuinely welcomed. It’s clear that this Airbnb is crafted for each guest, not just a standard stay. If you’re looking for a curated Airbnb experience (not just a place to sleep), this is absolutely the one to book.

The room is cozy, quiet and clean, we enjoyed our stay here. It is around 10~15 minutes driving from chase center, acceptable distance considering the price and safety situations. Anand is very friendly and responded quickly.

I would highly recommend the garden suite to anyone visiting San Francisco. The home had everything we needed and more! Host was friendly and extremely responsive.

Clelia's place is a great find! I lived for many years in Bernal Heights and love this neighborhood. I always try to find a place to stay in Bernal when I visit SF and I will definitely stay at this unit again. Clelia is a great host - super responsive, accommodating, and helpful. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated with tasteful furnishings, and everything is thoughtfully done. It has the best stocked kitchen I've ever experienced at an Airbnb. Being a one cup drip coffee drinker I was especially thrilled that a Melitta and coffee filters were provided. As well as a coffee grinder. The entire place had everything needed to be comfortable. And I very much enjoyed sitting in the lovely yard. Highly recommend!!

Mary’s place was very comfortable and homey, and Mary was extremely accommodating and communicative. Highly recommend if you would like a place to stay in the bay!

We love Maki's place! Quiet, comfortable & the dogs are a hoot. Maki is thoughtful, kind and generous. She helped us find a great ride to the airport, brought us ice when we arrived, and was available on site any time during our stay. The kitchen is beautifully appointed; we love to cook and every possible pan and utensil was available to us. In addition there was good salt and pepper on the counter and the one thing you can't stock for yourself while traveling, a fresh bottle of olive oil. The apartment is a 20-minute walk to the entrance to Golden Gate Park, where you enter (on 14th street) through the Rose Garden. Amazing stay. We're already booking again!

We had such a lovely stay at your beautiful home! Thank you so much for the recommendations, the thoughtful touches and cozy energy! Walked to the beach, the bakery, the grocery store - loved playing in the backyard and the games were a huge hit. We would absolutely stay again.

Airy, comfortable and immaculate place. Watched surfers, seals, whales and birds everyday.

Whitney and Dan’s Mish Mish was a perfect landing spot for us and our first big road trip with our toddler. They had all the little things you need for littles, while plenty of nice plus ups around the space for adults, like plenty of caffeine in the form of nespressos. Don’t sleep on Whitney’s reccos either! Great people, great space, and particularly nice if you have a little in toe. Also: another plus is that they have great taste in books around the place that might pique your curiosity.

We arrived at Knight and the city view was so amazing! This is a natural relaxation home cozy and quaint! Would definitely stay again

We had a very good time at Mel's place. The place was as per the listing. It's very close to the beach trails and also close to SF and SFO. Mel was very helpful, always replying back in minutes and answering our queries. Recommend her place for anyone looking to spend a nice peaceful weekend.

If you plan to sight see the city then only stay here if you are strong willed otherwise, you may have a hard time leaving the extremely comfy bed each morning or you may find yourself spending way too much time in the amazing sauna. It’s also possible that you decide the rooftop garden, with its stunning colors and hummingbird resident, rival any park in the city. If you think your need for food will drive you out, think again because you will be greeted with home made baked goods so delicious you would expect them to have come from a European bakery! So, think very carefully and make an informed decision!! Should you decide you have the mental fortitude to resist locking yourself away in this cozy yet high-end retreat for the duration of your stay, you will find no shortage of walkable things to do and places to eat. If you happen to enjoy Pho then I highly encourage you to make the trek to Pho 2000. Don’t expect fancy—just delicious!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Veronica’s place- the area is nice and quiet, but is easy to park and has great coffee within walking distance. The place itself is charming and clean with lots of sky light, we enjoyed the city views as well as the deck space. One thing to note is that the guest policy is strict, so just need to plan ahead if you’re in town visiting friends or family. Overall, it’s the perfect place to come home to after a day of exploring SF!

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Mission Dolores Park (one of my favorite spots in the city), and close to Noe Valley and Valencia Street, which are packed with great restaurants, bars, and shops. The apartment is spacious and full of charm, with high ceilings, antique pocket doors, and beautiful trim. The kitchen is huge and the sunny back deck is perfect for coffee or cocktails. All the bathrooms have been recently renovated with luxury finishes, and the bedding was clearly new—super comfortable beds, soft sheets, and great pillows. The only thing worth noting is that the apartment is clearly lived in when not rented, with many cabinets, closets, and drawers filled with personal items. For a short stay, this wasn’t an issue, but for a longer visit it might be tricky to unpack and settle in. That said, the host was extremely friendly and accommodating, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better home base in the city. Highly recommend!

Ben's place was absolutely perfect. It was clean and all his art and decor is beautiful. Ben put out snacks on our arrival which was so lovely after a long travel day. As a former Mission resident I can attest the location is amazing you're close to everything in the Castro and the Mission. The bed and living area were perfectly comfy and Ben's work setup was great to work from while looking out on the neighborhood surrounded by plants. Was also delightful to be able to cook in a well equipped kitchen during our stay. Truly a home away from home, will definitely stay here again next time were in SF.

Nader, We love the Deco and the Vibes of the home. Toilet has heated seats and in-Built Bidet spray for your Ehem-ehems! Toaster,water boiler,many pans, oven, microwave, he has everything u need. I asked about Aircon🙈. We did. not need aircon as The weather is so nice and cold at Night (11degrees 13-18Jun). We loved that Nader is a responsive and responsible host. My 15yr old son had a home accident and broke a hanging light fixture at the dining area as he stood up. We informed Nader of the issue. Super-host asked "firstly, is your son okay? Does he need medical attention? I have a first aid kit in the home". Super-host Wins!!! (Inna haza larizkunna mallahu minnafad. Amiin Amiin Amiin) - our doas to Allah SWT to grant you more Rezki for providing us a safe great home to stay. Boys wanna come back to SFO and re-stay at your home again! Thank you Nader

I highly recommend staying at Gillian’s place in Mill Valley. My friends and I truly enjoyed our girls weekend there. The place is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and very clean. Gillian provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. I will definitely stay again in the future. We really loved the location!

Clean, modern, well stocked with extra towels and blankets and very thoughtful, functional, well maintained furniture. It is a Victorian railroad apartment on first floor with spacious bedroom, smaller living dining area and large kitchen. The bed is on the firmer side and wifi speed of 117Mbps. Heating and cooling worked great. Location was stellar, very convenient to both offices in SOMA and breakfast at Tartine Manufactory. Really enjoyed my stay here and hope to be back the next time I'm in San Francisco.

I read all the reviews online about Kimberly's place so I knew it would be nice. The large closet was awesome, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen. The only problem I had (I knew this ahead of time) was hearing the owner's kids above us. Most of the time, no problem and never at odd times. I did feel the parents were as courteous as possible for 2 small kids but it was hard to take a nap a couple of times. I am used to a single home so this may play into it. I still recommend their place but keep in mind, occasionally, you hear people upstairs as also written in other reviews.
