Holiday rentals with breakfast in Mission District, San Francisco

I would recommend SF visitors/families to stay at Raj's place. The location in Lower Pacific Heights was great. Very nice and safe street with classic Victorian homes all around. Easy and free street parking within 1-2 blocks in all directions. The 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths worked perfectly for my family. The kitchen was full of amenities including a Nespresso coffee machine which we enjoyed each morning. In-unit washer and dryer also enabled us to pack light. The only oddity is that the backyard is used as a day-care facility, presumably operated from the garden apartment. So at times, the common/shared backyard had a bunch of toddlers and day care workers running around having fun. It didn't bother us because we were at home during the daytime so rarely, but just a heads up to anyone who plans to spend a lot of time in the house during the day.

Absolutely loved our stay! The house is a feast for the eyes—every room is filled with unique and thoughtful artwork that made it feel more like a gallery than a rental. The beds were incredibly comfortable (we all slept like rocks), and the host left clear, helpful instructions for everything from check-in to the coffee maker. Speaking of which, the coffee in the fridge was unexpectedly great—a rare and welcome touch. Highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates comfort with a creative flair!

It's clear why this airbnb has so many glowing reviews. It's really that wonderful. Steps to the beach, beautiful kitchen, fully enclosed deck and yard, super comfortable beds and lux linens. Cozy, clean, stylish, warm. A dream. We will hope to return.

Overall, I had a great stay at the cottage! In a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood (great for walking your dog). The cottage itself was spacious - loved the mini-split AC units and the small enclosed front yard. Highly recommend staying here while in the bay!

Beautiful home with gorgeous interior design. Well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. Location is super convenient to the baseball and basketball stadiums, and a short drive from Union Square and other tourist attractions. Fun bar next-door with a very kind owner, cute dog and good food. Adell was very responsive and helpful.

Great little place right near family we were visiting. Walkable to lots of good restaurants and cute stores!

Great place to stay for a few nights. Shared bathroom was always clean and kitchen always had some snacks. Host check in instructions were super clear.

Ruby's place is exactly as advertised - very comfortably appointed, walkable to some of my favorite spots in Berkeley, and the private garden seating area just outside the double-kitchen doorway was simply beautiful. I will definitely stay here again when back in the area!

Joe and Katrina's apartment was a good fit for the two of us. An ideal location--right on Broadway and marvelously close to Columbus with its restaurants and shops. And a manageable walk to the waterfront. Being of the third floor was a bit of a climb but then the roof was right above us and easily accessible. The living area with the kitchen right there was handy. The two bedrooms are down the hall so sound did not carry. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of impressive amenities. We weren't short of anything. The rooms are. cleverly decorated. Katrina was welcoming, informative, and responsive. We should gladly stay here again.

Cozy place that’s bigger than it appears in the photos. It’s on a beautiful and peaceful tree-lined street. The neighborhood is very walkable and some coffee places and restaurants are nearby. You can also venture a few minutes drive to two different commercial corridors. The hosts were very warm and friendly.

This was our second stay at Gigi's, and you'd be hard pressed to find better accommodations. Clean, homey, comfortable, best coffee/breakfast in SF. We love all the books and SF artwork throughout. Looking forward to staying again!

The location was truly perfect -- excellent restaurants, cafes, bakeries, etc. Walk to UC Berkeley was about 10 to 15 minutes, to Rockbridge BART was about 20 minutes. Emily was a super nice host and helped me with local tips and informations.

Had a wonderful 10 day stay here! Michelle is a fantastic host. The home, kitchens and rooms are so cozy. Everything is super organized, neat and clean. Lovely books in the shelves that will make you explore the wonderful city of San Francisco. The oatmeal breakfast, fruits, yoghurts, with array of coffee machines are absolutely a whole cherry cake on top of another. This place is a gem!

We really enjoyed staying at Susanna and John’s place. They made us feel right at home with their homemade breakfast muffins and they have a gorgeous backyard filled with plants and art. They are kind, wonderful people and who have two adorable dogs, Molly and Lilly, that our baby had a blast playing with! We would definitely recommend staying here and would come again. Danna is a lovely host! She made delicious breakfast and also hosted house dinners, where she made a simple but delicious 3-course meal! The room is beautiful and has a stunning view. I also love the neighborhood. I had a great time and hope to be back soon!

Sandor and Giuliana are the best hosts! We loved getting to know them and their sweet dog, Giorgio, and staying in their beautiful home. They made us feel right at home and had wonderful neighborhood recommendations and local history to share.

Everything was exactly as shown in pictures and descriptions. We really appreciated the private backyard area to hang out in at some point each day we were there. There was just he right amount of shade and sun and comfortable chairs to lounge in. The interior was just perfect for us as well, very comfortable and well equipped. The bed and linens were comfortable but maybe just a light blanket in the summer time is all you need as it does get a little warm upstairs. We love the neighborhood (our son lives just a few blocks away) and we took the advice of Laura and got some tacos at Oscars Tacos just down the street. Amazing vegetarian options, especially the sweet potato one. Curbiside for ice cream is always a favorite of ours as well, just a few blocks in the other direction. We would recommend for a stay to anyone considering.

Room and apartment clean and beautifully decorated. Central and quiet location. Shops and good restaurants in walking distance. Good connection to public transport. Great and caring hosts. Nice chats, excellent and thoughtful tips. The complementary breakfast was a good start in the day. We loved the three cats. We would rent again.
