Named after past historical guest Sally Rand ( 1904 – 1979) who was an American burlesque dancer and Silver Screen star, most noted for her ostrich feather fan dance and balloon bubble dance.

A third floor suite, facing the river with the train tracks only a couple blocks away. It took 2 months to do the ceiling. Carefully polished and placed the old lath in a specific design, the ceiling is a work of art. Eighty percent of the material used in this room is from re purposed lumber, either from this building or from a childhood barn built in the late 1800's. It will take you a while to notice every detail down to the toilet paper holder which is from an old barn post.

Room #1 at Saint Helen's Hideaway -- This is the only downstairs guest room, no stairs to climb (except for the front porch stairs) and it's just steps from the kitchen, coffee bar, and back garden.
