8 weeks Fujimi is a secluded house nestled at the foot of Fujimi Panorama Resort. During the day, listen to the babbling of the stream and the refreshing wind of the highlands, and at night, gaze at the moonlight with a warm drink in hand. The villa, with its log house-style interior and grand piano, creates an extraordinary yet familiar space. In 2020, we moved from the city with our then 1-year-old daughter, and we were so fascinated by Fujimi Town that we decided to move there in 8 weeks. After spending a luxurious time in the rich nature, by the time the 8 weeks had passed, I had come to think, "I will continue to live in this town". We named it "8weeks" because we want our guests to have a time that makes them want to stay here. I have lived in this house with my 5-year-old daughter, so you can have a safe and secure stay with your small children. We try to avoid placing things that are likely to be dropped or bumped into, and we also have a variety of picture books, musical instruments, and toys. You can also use it as a base for indoor activities such as telework and music production, and outdoor activities such as mountain climbing, skiing, and MTB. Both the home and the nearby shared office are ideal environments for long-term stays for Digital Nomads!

After locally sourcing fresh ingredients, head to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and climb the stairs to carry the ingredients to the hearth space. From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon. Family groups of around 8 people love it. Located in Dainichi, Karuizawa-cho, it is about 5 minutes by car from Shinano-Kazumi Station.The west and north sides are very quiet and calm as the state-owned forests approach.
