Staying at the Green Farm is truly a joyful and must-have experience when in the Troy area. John is an exceptional host, providing meticulous care and attention not only to his guests but to the home itself. From the beginning, you are welcomed by beautiful greyhounds and a thoughtful host who prepares the most delicious breakfast! I stayed in the John Waters room, which was amazing—very eclectic, remarkably clean, and the perfect little nook to rest after scouting around town. Whether you’re there for work or leisure, all the amenities provided are top-notch. I definitely will be going back, dreaming of another little getaway!

Christine was such a gracious host and her home was absolutely stunning. Room was just as described and so clean. She made sure we had everything we needed and was all set up and ready before we arrived. It was such a pleasure staying in her gorgeous home. Hoping to make another trip back in the summer!!

Highlanders View is the full bed and breakfast experience! Leam was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The views are second to none, and the surrounding forest puts you right in the middle of the Catskills. The Tavern Room was perfect, with a clean, full bathroom, comfortable bed, living room area, and a large porch to take it all in. I would highly recommend and would love to come back!

Our stay was so wonderful! The view was breathtaking and the land & gardens were really something to behold. Leam's breakfast was so delicious and wholesome. I loved hearing his stories. Thanks so much, y'all!

Sharon’s place is in a picturesque setting with incredible mountain views. Great communication and warm hospitality. Cozy and comfy bedroom with everything you need. Location was the perfect home base to explore Cooperstown and surrounding areas. Her breakfast was a treat and we would definitely stay again !

Spent a few nights while in town visiting the National Baseball HOF. Clean and spacious room. Great location in proximity to downtown and restaurants. Patty and Tom were great hosts. Friendly, responsive and provided spot on recommendations. Breakfasts were wonderful. I'll definitely be back.

Let me begin by saying that I am beyond grateful to Jeff and Amy. Also Jeff’s sister Susanne. They made me and my husband feel so welcomed. We enjoyed listening to the house history, also looking at the picture albums from previous owners. Jeff and Amy you guys are creating your own story now in this house ( make sure you guys make your own album for guest to also enjoy the evolution of the house since you guys started on this dream that came true)This house is a home away from home. We had Mrs. White room. It has everything we needed. Only if the mattress was a little more firm ( I don’t like soft mattresses) this will be the only downside in this room. Last but not least the breakfast is scrumptious. That was another reason why I booked it😀. On the way out Jeff , Amy and Susanne came outside to say goodbye like if we were part of their family💕. This spot was perfect. As soon as we walked in my mouth dropped. It was perfect! The floors, the decor, the claw foot tub, the COMFY bed and COMFY pillows. So happy that we decided to stay here. We will definitely be back! We came to Saratoga Springs for a concert at SPAC. We were 15 minutes away. Just a mere 10-15 minutes to so many great restaurants in town. We enjoyed this beautiful bed and breakfast to the fullest. The gardens were gorgeous around the property. The pool was great- even had plenty of lounge chairs to sun bathe in! And then Glen- amazing host. He answered questions immediately! Breakfast was delicious both morning! Definitely need to book here!

This is my 2nd time staying at Charles' home, The Sarah Tracy house. It truly is a little oasis in the heart of Troy. Run just like an inn, from the fantastic coffee and scones in the morning, to the pleasant conversation with Charles and his guests. The Whitman room was quiet and cozy. I did not hear any "city" noises and my dog, and I slept soundly through the night. Charles' home is the reason I will not stay at hotels! If every AirBnB listing duplicated his formula, they would be so successful!

One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! John made us feel right at home. The accommodations were impeccable. Our stay was very quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. John was so friendly and so communicative throughout the entire process. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in the area.

I would describe this stay as a well-kept farmhouse situated in beautiful mountains in a small, quiet town. It was very peaceful on the porch with the occasional car or Amish buggy. Nancy and Mark were very nice and welcoming, it felt like we were home and had known them before. I wish we could have gotten to know them more. My family was offered any amenity they had available at the home. Our little girl enjoyed the toy room and playground, as well as their pups. Every morning we had coffee ready to brew and breakfast ready to be made at our convenience. Even though we were busy while we stayed there with a baseball tournament, it was a perfect relaxing setting when we had the opportunity to be there. We would go back to Nacy's place without question.

Marikate and her husband were fantastic hosts - we felt welcome and taken care of the moment we arrived. The accommodations are as described…the environment is tranquil and relaxed. The house is very close to Saratoga Springs’ main drag where there are lots of restaurants and shopping to explore. Strongly recommend!

What an awesome place, and an awesome host! I had an eight-hour drive to make when I left. Priscilla volunteered to serve breakfast at 5:45 AM. Great breakfast. Great host. I even got to relax reading a book in front of the fireplace. It wasn't lit, but still so cool. She offered to make a fire and I declined. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Travis Lee

The Catalpa House was the sweetest bed & breakfast you could find in the area. Ellen was so kind, cooked us up an immaculate breakfast and gave wonderful recommendations for the short amount of time we had in the area. The room was super comfortable and she was extremely accommodating to anything we need throughout our stay. The town is a very sleepy town with not much to do, but beautiful surroundings. There were trails and a waterfall hike just up the road that kept us occupied and that we enjoyed the morning after our stay. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Ellen and Ed are ab fab hosts! And Ellen’s breakfasts are 5 star quality. I’m a tea drinker and Ellen had the exact brand that I drink…totally coincidental! Amenities in the room were top quality and 5 star hotel worthy! Ed even helped me do snow removal from my car and then drove me down the street to my destination!! A comfortable and convenient spot in a more remote area where quality like this is hard to find!
