Holiday rentals with a kayak in Mohawk River

We had the BEST TIME at this fantastic Lakeside house in Valatie!  The house itself has 3 good bedrooms – 2 large bedrooms upstairs with a nice bathroom and tub.  The downstairs has the other cute bedroom, another full bathroom,  a good sized kitchen open to a great and large living and dining area. The VIEW from the main room is stunning and was our ‘TV’ for the week.  The lake is just gorgeous!  It has a little dock with kayaks and plenty of nice seating and lounge chairs.  It’s great to have a full grass lawn !  The pups loved the house and the yard and the lake!  The house was super clean and roomy but cozy in it’s feel.  So many great little towns nearby – it was just the perfect house to get away from the city!  The community was chill, even tho it was Memorial Day weekend.  Thanks to Michael who was super responsive (not that we needed anything!) but if we had a question. Etc.  Thank you Michael ! We hope to be back for another visit !!!  

The house was amazing, just like the photos! Had plenty of room for the two of us along with our Daughter and our two Grandchildren. The girls enjoyed the hot tub, and swimming in the lake! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to rent for their vacation! My only wish was it was on the water! I love looking out the window to see the water!

Great home!!!! Spacious and very clean. Veronica was a great host that made sure we had everything we needed. If back in the area, I would definitely stay here again.

Fell in love with this lake house. It was a surprise for our mom for Mother’s Day. She loved her vacation as we all did. It’s a perfect retreat on the water with beautiful sunsets and lots of wildlife to watch and the sounds of nature were so lovely. A real gem this place is so much so we reserved an extra night. None of us wanted to leave and we all look forward to returning again soon. The home and all amenities were perfect as was the host . Thank you.

My family and I had a terrific stay at this beautiful home. Olga was fantastic, always responsive if we reached out and very helpful. The home was even more beautiful and breathtaking when we first walked into the house than we could have imagined! The home was spacious and cozy, and the view was spectacular. I enjoyed waking up early to work for a few hours overlooking the lake and the beautiful view of the sunrise, enjoying a nice cup of coffee while everyone else was still sound asleep in the comfortable accommodation. The sunset was even more stunning. We will definitely return if we get the chance.

The residence was lovely and clean. perfect for relaxing short get away. The one slight negative is the road noise. This is certainly out of the owners control. The afternoon and evening traffic, especially motorcycle traffic can be a annoying. There is a beautiful view of the lake from the 3 season room. traffic noise falls off about 730pm. we had a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay in Schoharie in this beautiful home built in 1790. The kitchen was spacious and had everything needed for cooking, including fresh eggs, juice and creamer in frig and a supply of bagels and pancake mix. Jill had baskets in the bathrooms with extras in case you forgot your toothbrush, needed shampoo, etc. And Jill was very quick to respond, very helpful with local recommendations, an all around wonderful host. Thanks so much, Jill!

EXCEPTIONAL! We can't say enough about how perfect our stay was. The Lake House is amazing. Great view, cozy, super clean. You can't ask for more. Will definitely come back and recommend highly.

We had another great stay at David and Kristine’s Lake House! The house is very cozy and has everything you need for a great vacation. We love waking up and seeing the lake. We especially enjoy the winter time seeing the snow in the frozen lake and the evergreen trees with the snow on their branches. The location is prefect, close to restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities. This was our second time at the lake house and we are hoping to make it a yearly tradition. David and Kristine are great hosts! They respond immediately to any communication and left plenty of great information inside the house. I cannot say enough good things about David, Kristine, and their Lake House!

Just what we needed to relax and unwind while in town for a wedding. Very peaceful! Made great use of the kayaks on site. Thank you Gina!

We were looking g for a place for our family of seven while our son did ASV for Cooperstown. This house was perfect to either All Star Village or Dreams Park. There were cute little amenities and the hosts went above and beyond for the little touches they had at the house. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Felt right at home. Air in each room was cold and had its own remote. Great outdoor space and use of games and fishing poles. I will recommending to all my baseball friends who are coming for the tournament.

This is a place you would want to come back over and over again. So serene and relaxing place, Perfect for the whole family!The moment you walk in ,you will fall in love with it. Everything is clean too! I love that it is pet friendly. There’s even treats for our dog and some freebies for us. Little things matter!Thank you Astrid for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful location with lakeside view. Such a peaceful and cozy home. We had everything we could have needed - canoe, kayaks, bikes etc. 20 minutes from Cooperstown Dreams Park. Absolutely gorgeous. One of my most memorable vacation spots. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! So much so that we already booked another stay in a different cabin just a few days from now. The entire property is gorgeous and so, so peaceful. Even with quite a bit of rain, everything was great thanks to how awesome Christine was! We are very grateful for her hospitality and how responsive she was with the flooding and minor plumbing issue it caused. Not sure other Hosts would be as willing as she was to fix the issue so quickly. It was very much appreciated. Can't wait to be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Alison’s place when we came up for our sons Cooperstown week. The home had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed fishing down at the dock, and sitting outside on the beautiful deck with the lake view. Highly recommend!

This cabin is a small slice of serenity. It's cozy, but has everything you need and enough room to sleep a small family. Being right across the street from the lake was incredibly convenient and having access to kayaks was an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back again if we are in the area.

It was just the perfect weekend getaway at the perfect cabin. Everything from the peaceful surroundings, the view, the inside of the cabin, the glamping bedroom was exactly, if not better than pictured on the listing. It truly exceeded our expectations. This was our second time staying at Ania and Stan’s beautiful cabin and just as we anticipated, it did not disappoint! If you are looking for a getaway that feels as cozy as bringing your home to stunning Lake George, this is the place for you! Ania has truly thought of everything! The location really can’t be beat! You have a stunning view of Lake George mixed with the peaceful quiet of the woods surrounding you. If you’re a fan of the night sky, bring your camera because its absolutely breathtaking being able to see so many stars shining right above you. The cabin is so close to town which makes it so easy to get out and really enjoy all that Lake George has to offer. The beds, sofas and linens are all so comfy and cozy. Ania even gave us the heads up that the weather was going to drop quite a bit during our stay and had space heaters already set up to get the cabin nice and comfy for us upon arrival. I cant express enough how much we enjoyed our stay, we cannot wait to get back! 🤍

Christine was a great host and very responsive to our questions/requests. One thing to note is the water in the sink/shower was yellow. Probably due to local water level conditions.

My children and I stayed over the weekend for my Graduation in Oneonta, NY. It was only 15 minutes from town, serene, beautiful views. My boys played in the back yard even though it rained. The cabin is so comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed it and will come back another time for sure!

This house was so much better than expected. The amenities are above and beyond. You can go fishing, theres boats you can take out into the pond, and there’s a disco ball that has lights shining onto it. It was the best weekend ever and I’m definitely booking the house again. The kitchen is also beautiful and has everything you need. When people say the house is better in person they aren’t lying. I also took my friends to Howe caverns which is only 30 minutes away from the house. Highly recommend the house!!!!!
