Lovely little room with a great view. We went knowing it was a room on one end of someones home so no surprises (I think this may have threw some reviewers). Waking up with a coffee and the view over the lake made it so we had trouble finding the will to leave in the morning. The host was responsive and gave us our privacy also.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin, super friendly hosts and a nice cosy cabin with everything we needed and beautiful views. We made the most of the rainy evening and went to see the glow worms down the driveway. Also the homemade bread and little treats were a super nice touch.

Hilary and Rob are fantastic hosts. Hilary is super friendly and accommodating. I simply inquired if there is a microwave at the place to heat up takeaway food (no big deal if there isn’t one), she went out of her way -and bought a brand new one before we checked in. We were amazed by her kindness and effort, we really appreciated it. The place is very peaceful with stunning view, highly recommended! Everything you need, want and more ! Peaceful and quiet. Everything was exactly as described. Very very well equipped. Far enough from Rotorua town to be peaceful and enjoy the environment, but close enough to enjoy the attractions.
