An exceptionally beautiful house with a very good value for money. There are four really nice double rooms, so really suitable for up to 8 people. Three bathrooms, a large and really well equipped kitchen and the highlight: huge living room and dining room. The garden is also very nicely laid out (and there will be a pool soon too!). The location is fine (pure residential area) but you can walk and cycle directly from the house very nicely. In 10-15 minutes by car by the sea and in 45 minutes in Porto. The house is very well appointed, designed with a lot of love and absolutely recommended!

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

This was by far the most luxurious and cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail and the little extras (for example… crisp white dressing gowns, cake and wine on arrival) were really appreciated. The views are amazing, somewhere totally different to the norm but we loved every minute.

Fantastic place, so very well equipped and great location. We loved it here and would love to stay again. We had a problem with the boiler when we arrived and Marta was quick To get it working again. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

We loved the house very much, we believe it is great for both a group of friends and family. The house had plenty of games to choose from. As far as the hostess is concerned, she is very friendly and has always been shown to be available.

Very pleasant stay, the house is located in a very quiet area and with nice views. Noelia was very attentive to our arrival and provided us with a couple of cots and high chairs for two small children, and she was available for anything we needed.

Immaculate, well equipped,spacious single story house with secure parking. Garden room / dining room overlooked spacious patio, garden and heated swimming pool. Beach and restaurants about a mile away at Amorosa. Gabriel provided an excellent welcome pack of wine, milk, bread, butter etc. (and a bag of lemons the following day. ) He responded quickly to any questions and was flexible. We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay.

The villa had everything we needed and more — every detail was so thoughtfully designed, and it was spotless. The space is even more stunning in person, with a warm and stylish feel throughout. Perfect home for a few days of rest with friends or family! Spacious, well cared for and with lots of green spaces. Access to the house is simple and the property is not far from downtown Braga, which facilitates tours and access to supermarkets and other services.

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa de Vilar de Rei where we spent two weeks as a family. If you are looking for a peaceful oasis surrounded by nature and a place to completely switch off from the world, this is it. Marta and her father Daniel were the perfect hosts - responsive, helpful and kind. Our 1-year-old son had the time of his life riding Daniel's tractor, meeting the chickens, and picking fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden. The pool is shared with the other house but there is plenty of space for everyone and we had very nice neighbours during our stay. There are lots of places to sit and relax or read in the garden - day beds, swings, benches, or the veranda with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields. The garden is also full of herbs and lemon trees. The house inside is very well equipped, and the bed linen and towels are immaculate. We had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little piece of countryside heaven. Thank you Marta and Daniel!

Sweet welcoming by Ms. Adelaide, we had a great stay, also received a basket with fruits and eggs from the garden. Beautiful surrounding for idyllic walks nearby and generally very calm environment with a lot of nature around. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Agnes was an excellent host. Very concerned and extremely polite. The Studio is very beautiful, comfortable and cozy and very well equipped. In the middle of nature, but a few minutes from the beach. A car is required as there is no public transport in the area. An experience to repeat.

Perfect place to spend a few days with your family, impeccable house, cleanliness and order, very complete facilities. Carina has been a perfect host, always available and with great local suggestions. We will definitely enjoy this house again as we have left enchanted.

Loved the apartment and location. Our host was also extremely kind and welcoming, even so far as to drop in some medicine when it was needed. HIGHLY recommended if you’re in the area.

The place was very peaceful and beautiful. The house was clean and comfortable and all amenities were working perfectly. You’d probably need a car for this spot but if you have one it gives you the opportunity to explore this beautiful region. My only suggestion would be to make it clearer on the listing that two houses share this property since I wasn’t fully aware of that at the beginning. Otherwise, we had a perfect, relaxing stay.

Maria, It was 20***** **** It was extremely friendly, attentive, always available. It gets very well, with miminhos that any guest likes. His home was extremely clean, tidy and with everything we needed to spend a beautiful stay. It has a wonderful garden to catch some sunny "baths" and a fabulous space for my d**k Moana, who delighted in the freedom she had to play and walk at ease. Pedro's accommodation is located in an architecturally interesting terraced house complex between the federal highway and the train line along the coast, facing the sea. Fine layout and thoughtful design, very pleasant ambience with internal staircase between central entrance area with dining area/kitchen and the 3 rooms with a view (two towards the sea). The living area is spacious and with its equipment spacious, tastefully furnished and is kept very private with direct reference to the terrace or garden. Here you can relax - overlooking the sea and the coastal landscape. The guarded beach can be reached on foot in 5-10 minutes. We were very comfortable right away! There are also visible damage and defects to the structure, which do not disturb further, but should soon be renovated to remain intact. Pedro is a very enjoyable and helpful host, ready with tips and assistance for any situation!
