Very welcoming guest. We felt right at home.

My husband and I immediately fell in love with the villa! The Host Aymen is very Welcoming & was helpful with directions. We had to check in to the maison in the evening & He met w/ us to hand us the keys, no issue, smiling & friendly. He answered any others questions we had. The home is beautifully decorated, along w/charming antique hardware & tilework. Historically built, so the home has many original features but w/ MODERN accommodations!!! The home is walkable to the beach & many restaurants are just a walk in the other direction. The home is immaculately clean. It's the perfect setting for families, friend groups, or married couples on honeymoon! The home sits on a very peaceful CLEAN & safe cobblestone street! It has all the architectural & decorative charm you could ask for of a Tunisian home; The jasmine flowers in the indoor patio make the entire home smell lovely. The garden is breathtaking & great space for outdoor entertaining! We'll be back!

I had a wonderful stay here. The property is cosy, clean, well-decorated and very comfortable, with all the essentials provided. The terrace is lovely, the bed is comfy, the shower works perfectly, and the fly nets on the windows are a great touch. The street is peaceful with the sound of birds by day and crickets at night, and the neighbourhood feels very safe, even at night. Just a 2-minute walk away is a busy street with shops, cafés, fast food, and taxis. Check-in/out was smooth with a lockbox, which was super convenient during the day. The cleaning lady was warm and kind, even walking me to local shops. No WiFi, but you can buy cheap mobile data from an Orange store 10 minute walk away. Oussema is a fantastic host — always quick to reply and very helpful. Excellent value for money. I slept great every night and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Oussema!

Lovely villa right next to the beach with beautiful views of the sea. The rooftop is a stand out, and the barbecue in the back garden was amazing for cooking all the fresh seafood you can find in the local fishmongers. Do bear in mind that during Ramadan, Hergla restaurants aren’t really open even for dinner, so come ready to cook (supermarkets, greengrocers, butchers etc open as normal). Maher is a great host and very responsive.

Excellent communication with the host. We were always asked about our well-being and tips for restaurants and the like were also given. Clean apartment and great stay. Some restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. Bus stop practically outside the door. The only negative point is unfortunately the nearby beach, which stinks of sewage and unfortunately is also very dirty, which is typical for Tunisia.

The apartment was clean, modern, quiet, and well-equipped—perfect for a comfortable stay. The host, Chahrazed, was very responsive and provided clear, detailed instructions for finding and accessing the property. The internet connection was excellent, which was a big plus. We spent a week at Catherine's place and the accommodation is totally as advertised. The interior is a little old-fashioned in its style but we didn't mind, on the contrary, we felt like we were on vacation in a family home. Everything is very spacious, the kitchen well equipped to cook small dishes "like at home". Special mention for the garden where we enjoyed having our breakfasts amidst the beautiful lemon trees. The location is on a quiet street but very convenient to have nearby bakery, grocery stores and en primeurs and just a little far from a creamery with very good cheese. The sea is just 15 minutes' walk away with pretty spots to discover, wilder than getting closer to the center of Monastir. If you are looking for a quiet place to spend time living at the Tunisian rhythm this is the right place, what's more with a very good value for money. Mehdi was there when we needed it.

Hi, Just would like to thank Madam Rkj, All went well .. we feel amused , relaxed .. we profited well from the beach and the swimming pool. It is not a fancy place but very practical, clean, charming (typique) , well located and mostly very secured. as well nice neighborhood.. Great place for vacation with family.. 100% Looking forward to get back there soon.. already missing the place. thank you for all.

The apartment was perfect, clean, quiet. A small park just downstairs that delighted my son. The pools were not functional but out of time so normal. We had a great time in Avignon! Provide a car because not much nearby but it allows you to be quiet. Thank you for everything! An address we keep 😁

Hatem is a very nice and responsive person when we need us. The accommodation is large and pleasant perfectly installed a little wet and noisy with the water pump and the n often takes small necks with the microwave but if not the arrival is perfect, well equipped, attentive briefly I recommend

It was a very nice stay again. Everything you need. You feel very comfortable right away. There is a cafe and restaurants in the surrounding area. To the sea you only have to cross the road. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Mondher's home is beautiful, large, clean and in the perfect location! Mondher and Mouna were wonderful. Very kind people, as is their entire family. Very helpful, thoughtful and generous. Thanks so much for the water, the fruit, all the food, and for such amazing service. It's a huge apartment with a comfortable bed, lots of light, a nice breeze every day, wonderful balcony off of the large kitchen. Just perfect! I highly recommend this wonderful home. You can walk to everywhere you would want to go. Really a great comfortable stay. Thanks so much!

This is a lovely apartment, clean, well equipped and nicely furnished. It is a 20 minute walk into the medina, and there are restaurants and shops nearby. Happy to recommend.

Perfect for this time of year

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, spacious and modern apartment, which is located in a new and secure building and a nice area. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. When we arrived, the tables were were set and small snacks, juice and chocolates were provided. The apartment was generously equipped with everything you need and offered all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The communication with the owner was very good, he was very friendly and replied quickly. The check-in and check-out went smoothly, we were welcomed by the host‘s father, who was also very kind and welcoming. The only small downsides were that it was a bit loud at times (traffic noise because the apartment is facing the street and is located right next to a mosque) and that the bathroom was a bit small. Other than that, it was the best apartment we ever stayed at in Sousse and we can highly recommend it!

I would travel to Tunisia just to stay here again. The kindness and hospitality we received was out of this world. A beautiful family to match a beautiful house. What more could you want? The most amazing family run restaurant attached to the AirBnB. Amazing. 10/10 A must stay if you are in Tunisia
