I highly recommend Manuela's home! Me and my friend stayed at her place for 6 days in occasion of the AfroNation festival. The room was clean and well organised, with a nice balcony to enjoy some food or look at the city of Portimao and air conditioning (which really makes the difference some days). The swimming pool was great as well, we had the opportunity to meet several other people that were there for the same festival and had fun all together. Two out of the 6 days, we decided to do groceries (the supermarket is very close to the house) and cook something in the big shared kitchen. The house was easily accessible and we could either walk to the city centre or take an Uber (10 minutes drive). There was always someone from the staff available to help us and they made us feel like we were at home and part of a big family. Thank you all, we had a great time!

The stay was spotless. Peter and Jolanda are both very friendly, kind and accommodating. If you have any questions or problems, it was helped flexibly (there are no problems). Our dog was easily tolerated, although he likes to be louder. The hospitality of the two is mega! The Airbnb was clean as described and everything you needed was there. The bed was cozy and the shower was also great (hot water + rain shower available). There is also a parking space, as well as an air conditioning and fan, both very pleasant to cool off. The pool was a great refreshment where you can also sunbathe perfectly. The location of the Airbnb is excellent as supermarkets or amusement parks such as Aqualand, as well as the beaches are all very easily accessible by car. A clear recommendation from us. A great 2 week vacation with Vitor and his wife!! Very welcoming, smiling, warm people like we were a family. It's a great chance to find this type of place where we are lucky to be self-sufficient for everything, to have access to the pool 24 hours a day. A peaceful and very relaxing place. We also had the right to return to France with barbaric figs that was in the garden!! I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed for 8 nights. We where met at the entrance of the vast property and had a quick tour to get grounded. We had the pond house which is more than adequate, and has most things that you need included. The owners (Chris & David), have several really friendly dogs that came to visit, which stopped us from missing our dog quite as much. The local area is beautiful and very quiet, and sitting where it is in the hills you get no light pollution so the star show at night is remarkable. Chris and David, are very approachable and will give you as much information as you ask for, which includes all of the special little places that they know and recomend. The overall stay was very quiet, relaxing and peaceful, with no loud music, noisy people, bars or general traffic.. but if that is the sort of holiday you crave don't come to Talurdo.. bugger off somewhere else and leave Talurdo to stay tranquil and bathed in tender kindness and peace. The pool is another special touch, natural, clean.

Stunning. Hollie’s place is beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, extremely well equipped and perfect for 2 couples with the 2 en-suite bedrooms. There is a lot of outside space to sit and relax as well as inside. We loved the pool and wandering in the orchard. Lots of nice local spots to explore within 10-30 minutes by car. Our hosts were very accommodating, friendly and communicative. Highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay at this charming 2-bedroom country house! The home was cozy, spotless, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Both bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped — perfect for cooking our own meals. The surrounding area was peaceful and scenic, with orange picking mornings and quiet evenings. The swimming pool 🏊 was a delight! It truly felt like a home away from home. Our host was friendly, responsive, and made us feel at home! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in the countryside!

The apartment is beautiful, with terrace and balcony. Top location, only a few minutes to the dream beach. The furniture is all new and very stylish. Everything is perfectly equipped, in the kitchen all conceivable kitchen helpers, pots and co. are available, for the terrace a drying rack, grill, garden lounger, seating area and a water hose to free your feet from the sand. We felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

Lovely flat with fantastic outdoor space. We stayed for just over a month and could have happily stayed longer. Village is small but with a good choice of restaurants and bars. Fantastic beach 5 min drive away. WiFi not the best if you work remotely but you can get by. The host made available a cot and a high chair which we appreciate.

Isabel was very helpful before arriving to Portugal. Upon arrival the taxi driver (Fabio) was top tier and gave us lots of recommendations. When arriving at the villa check in was easy and Carlos was very nice and easy to talk with

A great place with a nice new courtyard and a great pool , away from tourism but still centrally located. Those who love peace and animals are in the right place. The very nice landlords are on hand to help and are very helpful... Thank you for 10 wonderful days , we will be happy to come back ..

We have stayed in a lot of BnBs and this was our favourite! Emma was very welcoming and accommodating, leaving us beverages and fresh eggs from her chickens. There were also lemon and orange trees that we were able to pick to have fresh fruit. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed and the property was beautiful and even has a pool!

Wonderful to have been able to call this place our house for a number of days. A nice and small cottage with a beautiful outdoor setting. Our 16 month old little one loved the tour of the goats, chickens, guinea pigs and the tractor! The swing, slide, and the hopping rink were also favorites. And for us, a game of table tennis/football under the canopy during a rain shower was also cozy. Arlete has thought of everything, stocked fridge on arrival, (also something tasty for the little one) there is even an electric orange press and hand blender available. Arlete also came to bring fresh lemons and avocados from their own garden. Super thoughtful. Beach is a few minutes drive, but you can also enjoy the pool😀 In short, a wonderful stay and we will be happy to come back. Arlete, thank you for everything and good luck to you and your family.

We stayed at Irene’s villa with my two children (7&3), my husband and my dad. The villa was amazing and beautifully presented. The outside area is just phenomenal and so easy with young children. Irene was a lovely person who was very kind and thoughtful. She was friendly and welcoming and the villa was really well equipped. Everything you needed was already there and in great condition.

Thanks to Hendrik and Nathalie for offering this little piece of heaven! This is a unique place with a unique atmosphere! A breathtaking view of the city, away from noise but close to everything (by car;)) Their dogs Thaiko and Bruno are lovers and have sublimated this vacation! The house has all the comforts you need to have a great time with family or friends. A place to live a real break THANK YOU!

Bruno is a very kind person and you have a little area outside to chill. You have everything (and more 🙈) what you need in this appartment.
