Secluded Hut on the Welsh Border

Kingfisher Camp is a romantic hideaway set in the dimple of a hillside of a small farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. The hut is available for anyone who is content to cuddle up by candlelight and light the woodburning stove to get cosy, or spend a night out by the fire, cooking food and star gazing. The setting is gorgeous, the views are stunning, the hut is much bigger than a shepherds hut, and the shower is a glorious experience! It's pretty special here. Hard to beat we think!

Although it’s a tiny space, it feels spacious with a proper mini bathroom (shower and flushing toilet) and kitchen (hob, fridge, kettle, and cooking appliances). The hut has an electric radiator & a logburner, so it’s perfect for a cosy autumn getaway.

Its less than three miles to the pretty market town of Abergavenny ‘The Gateway to Wales’ and four miles to Crickhowell which has been awarded ‘the Great British High Street Award’. They both offer an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants, historic sites, castles, and museums to explore.
