The house was fantastic! The kitchen was fully equipped, and we loved having games for relaxing in the evenings. It comfortably accommodated all eight of us, with plenty of space so we never felt crowded. The yard was a real highlight—perfect for enjoying coffee and birdwatching each morning. Plus, Wildcat Mountain State Park is just a 15 minute drive away, and I highly recommend checking out Franklin Coffee House in Sparta!

Spacious and secluded grand home on 80 acres

A large home nicely situated in the middle of Amish country. On property’s creek we saw large trout, fished on Tomah lake and caught are limit of pan and perch fish, ride on the Lacrosse Queen for all you can eat pizza and drinks, spent a day at Wisconsin Dells Water Park, really enjoyed the property and home, we had supper and a bonfire nearly every night at the Newhaven Estate, counted nearly 90 deer to include one albino doe! Enjoyed saying hello to the cows, filled in our in between times with bike and golf cart rides. Great place and host recommend it to large families needing the space and area away from city distractions!

As well as the Kickapoo Wild Life Reserve in Lafarge. There is Canoe, Kayak and tubing rentals at the Kickapoo River 3 miles away. Elroy-Sparta Bike trail is about 15 miles away. Most relaxing stay for us, definitely recommend if you are trying to decompress and relax. My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay very much—it was the most perfect way to celebrate our 11 year anniversary (and recently engaged!). The views are incredible and look even better in person. We enjoyed cooking dinner together, painting, and soaking up the sunsets on the beautiful deck. We hope everyone who stays at Sugarloaf experience the same level of bliss we did❤️
