Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

An ideal location for exploring the area, the independent and private bedroom is set in a rural garden of olive trees, mandarins, almonds, grapes, and figs, surrounded by nature with mountain views of Serra da Gardunha and Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain range in Portugal. A queen-size bed, quality linen + bathroom & kitchenette. Hot shower, mini-fridge, mini stove ensure you can make the most of your stay. Este cantinho especial e acolhedor foi edificado inicialmente a 1930, pela avó Rosa e pelo avô Francisco. Atualmente reformulado e atualizado, procurámos manter os valores e as pedras estruturais que tanto suportaram esta casa e as gerações que aqui viveram ao longo dos anos. Ter este tesouro geracional não faz sentido para nós sem a possibilidade de partilha. Sejam muito bem-vindos ao cantinho da nossa avó Rosa!

inXisto Lodges - Tryhouse

Surrounded by the Açor and Estrela Mountains, Tryhouse is located in the small village of Chãs d’Égua, in the parish of Piódão. Inside an old shale haystack, a new, more contemporary and welcoming space has emerged. It is a studio that extends outside, where there are dining and leisure areas. The Tryhouse has panoramic mountain views.
