Ana was a kind and helpful hostess. Her father met us at the door with the keys, and gave us a tour of the apartment The apartment is just as described, although the beds were a bit too firm for my liking. The setting is perfect. It’s a quick walk to the heart of the city, with tree lined streets, numerous parks and flower gardens. There are also numerous excellent restaurants in the neighborhood.

We loved our stay! I loved having the coffee Jorge provided in the balcony every morning while enjoying the view. The apartment felt like home. It is well located near the town center, local market, supermarket, etc. Jorge is an amazing host. He took the time to meet up at check-in, showed us around the unit and pointed out local attractions. We also appreciated the wine and pastries he left for us when we checked in. I am so glad we found this place and I would definitely stay again!

Luis deserves five stars as the perfect host. He provided us not only with detailed check in instructions but went far above what is typical with help on local restaurants, parking area and other details. He always responded quickly to help correct any technical issues or special needs we had. The location was ideal and surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of the city. We were a couple and the apartment was perfect for two, however, I wouldn’t recommend the sofa bed for a second couple as it is very uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful stay here. The apartment itself is modern, clean and in a great location. The communication was excellent throughout and the self check in process was easy. I would definitely recommend!

Sandra's apartment is magnificent: clean, bright, central, very spacious for two people and very quiet. Our stay in Guimarães, in the historic center, was great thanks to that accommodation. The price-quality ratio is optimal. The nearby and cheap parking Camões also made things easier. We definitely recommend this place nice and well managed. Muito obrigado.

Beautiful tranquil little converted farmhouse. All the amenities you need, lovely pool and very friendly dog. It is walkable to supermarket and local bars or a cab to Guimarães is very cheap. Our host was very friendly and helpful throughout.

I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

This place is a dream! If you are coming to portugal this is the perfect little hideaway. Ana Maria made us feel right at home and everything was in perfect condition. We used to stay at Pena Park Hotel which is also great but now that we’ve found Ana Maria’s little heaven, we will look to return whenever we come back to visit my Avô again. Obrigada por tudo Ana! Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

The countless reviews say it all: this place and Murilo's hospitality are both exceptional. Best to check it out for yourself as my review won't do it justice. A few highlights: the kitchen is fully equipped, the space is family friendly, and the landscape is amazing. This is my favorite airbnb booking, and I travel a lot. We had a fabulous stay at Josés property. The space was beautifully designed, it had a very zen feel. We felt so relaxed there. It was a perfect spot for visiting Guimarães and Jose was very thorough when we met him, telling us all about his property and the local area. Would highly recommend and would have loved to have stayed longer

We had a lovely stay! :) We ended up staying a few days longer than planned (unexpectedly, due to a flat tyre – and no one nearby could replace it). The apartment is nice, clean, and cozy – for the price, it’s absolutely amazing. The house is semi-detached,doesn’t have a garden. Parking is on the roadside (the road isn’t in use, no a problem at all). The balcony has a wonderful view! The surrounding area is beautiful and perfect for walks. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side – it rained heavily most of the time, so we didn’t get to explore as much as we’d have liked. The village of Cerva is charming and well-kept. It’s a great place for a quiet retreat in nature. The host is kind and helpful, and communication was quick and easy. One thing to mention: there is 5G in the house, which feels a bit unnecessary in such a natural setting – but it can be turned off via the main circuit breakers if you're sensitive to that. All in all, we definitely recommend this apartment! :)

The house do Bobal has exceeded our expectations, although in the photos it is already seen that it is very complete, being there it is even more beautiful and very cozy, I know that it was decorated by a family and not only for guests, we felt right at home, the beds are comfortable, the house was super clean, the back patio is great, we have enjoyed the hammock and also the game of darts, in the house there are more options of board games to play in front of the fireplace if it is cold as in our case... we were able to bring our chihuahua and we had a lot of privacy, the village is also very nice and there are several paths and things to visit in the area. Luis is very friendly and has had details with us such as asking the baker to leave the fresh bread at the door in the morning! super recommended! We're already looking forward to coming back :)

The house is wonderful and cozy, even nicer than what you see in the photos. The area where it is located is incredible to be able to hike routes and visit waterfalls. I would come back without hesitation! It has been a stay of 10

I highly recommend Maria as a host. His daughter welcomed me very well, explained everything and showed me the common or private rooms in the apartment for me because I had my room and my bathroom/wc . The apartment is on the 6th floor but it's very quiet.

The structure of the apartment is very good and with impeccable cleanliness. The room is large and the atmosphere is peaceful. The family welcomed me very warmly and I am very grateful for the stay.
