Holiday rentals with breakfast in Montezuma

This place is AMAZING! We came here on our honeymoon and were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and the attentiveness of the hosts. The breakfast provided was so nice, and felt like a feast! Even more enjoyable sitting and eating the meal in their outdoor common area, you truly feel like you’re just sitting on a mountain. It was lovely getting to know the hosts. They provided us with fun recommendations on things to do. We drove down off the mountain one of the days and took surf lessons in Samara! One evening we drove about 15 minutes down the road to eat dinner at Restaurante Teosinte (highly recommend checking that out while you’re in the area). Be sure to pay attention to their specific instructions on how to get there, those were very helpful. Especially having a 4x4 is very necessary. The hosts have created a fantastic stay in the mountains of Costa Rica and I’m so grateful they did and offer it available to be enjoyed by others! 10,000x recommend this place!

I loved this space at Dream Sea Surf Camp! The design and decor of the room was so inspiring, and I loved the open shower! The common areas of the surf camp are welcoming and beautiful - the landscaping is amazing! On top of all of these positive attributes, the best part was: the vibe, the guests and the employees!!!-- oh and also- the proximity to the stunning nearby beach, Playa Hermosa! Congrats to Dream Sea for bringing a beautiful vision to manifest form--- and through that, giving others the opportunity to create beautiful memories in a gorgeous location!

Very comfortable, simple place was exactly what we needed for a few days in San Miguel. Easy arrival, exactly as described, and everything was cleaning and working.

Our best stay in Costa Rica and we wish we could stay longer! Federica and Roberto have created a great space to relax on in such an exciting town. The yoga is good for all levels and is every morning. It’s a close walk to the beach and right next to plenty of restaurants all while being nicely secluded. The pools is very refreshing and private with only 4 total units on the property. Can’t wait to go back

If you find yourself in Puntarenas and have a taste for history and true hospitality, Casa Fait is the place to go. The house itself is beautifully and carefully restored to it’s early 20th century splendour, which is completely surreal given today’s reality of the fisherman town. The hosts are beyond welcoming and shared a lot of stories, recommendations, anecdotes and wisdom. It has been a great experience on our journey through Costa Rica.

I work remote and took my work to the mountains. I stayed at this hotel for a whole month. The mountains are beautiful and amazing to wake up to every morning. The sunrises and star gazing on this mountain was phenomenal. The fruitful trees that the monkeys have to climb daily was so inspiring to watch how God provides to all species. The sounds of the birds singing in the jungle was a great experience for my morning coffee. And last but not least the amazing staff here! I am blessed to have found this wonderful place to stay for a month! The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Staff responded timely and very helpful. Great WiFi connectivity, electricity worked well, plenty of hot water. You will need a 4x4 vehicle or a taxi that provides it. Beaches are nearby and the culture was great to visit and explore. I see why this area specifically is the blue zone. Pura vida lives in this mountain top. Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to visit again. Glamping!!

Villa Alta has the most remarkable hosts and is a very spacious, clean, and inviting home! This home is in a very quiet neighborhood, and yes there are lots of dogs at all the homes, but I never heard them when I was sleeping. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the bay, you can sometimes hear the mono congos in the nearby forest when you sit on the deck, which I did often, enjoying the cool breeze or the rain falling. I would suggest you have a vehicle as it is not easy to get to a market or the nearby towns, which have some interesting history and sometimes shows. Hope you catch the local dancing demonstrations in Esparza! I will return if just even to visit with Jose and Leda, who everyone should take time to get to know! Best examples of Pura Vida!

House was beautiful, spacious and well appointed with amazing views. Ronald the house manager was responsive and had great local recommendations. Ligia the housekeeper was very nice and did a great job cleaning and made amazing breakfasts. Eduardo, with Patron Adventures really helped with our boat excursions and also touring us through the rain forest to see lots of monkeys. Nick and his father the host were very responsive and flexible when it came to booking our stay. Overall amazing experience and we would definitely stay there again. The hotel and beach were great amenities to have access to as well. Renting a 4x4 is a must.

Totally enjoyed staying here---lovely staff, comfortable and well equipped space, breakfast was a GREAT quality compared to many "included" in other places in my experience! Berny and Lily at the info desk at the sister hotel two doors down (Locanda I think it was called) were super helpful and showed classic Costa Rican friendliness, and integrity with the info about transports and activities in the zone. I would 100% recommend.

My husband and I needed some rest and we found it at the Innerlight Yoga lodge. The location is exceptional! Playa Sámara is set in a bay, so swimming is much more peaceful. The day started with a yoga class given by Federica, followed by a homemade breakfast. Everything was great. And what about the pool in which we were refreshing at the end of the day! Federica is an outstanding yoga teacher and host. She takes care of this stunning place with her husband Roberto. We'll definitely go back!

Casa Santosha is a special place … an oasis of green 50 metres from the ocean on a quiet Street … Sandra the owner is a great communicator and even when the Air bnb app was not working properly she got back to me. Antonia the caretaker is one of the kindest person you will ever meet and she is always willing to Assist. I stay here for a month. October 7-November 7/21. Dousing this time I got very sick with a lung 🫁 infection. When I knew I needed a doctor and a hospital Sandra acted so quickly and the doctor came and airlifted me to San Jose. sandra checked on me frequently during my 8 days there. Antonia cleaned my place and did my laundry 🧺… I came back to a clean house and got to enjoy the kindest and hospitality at this hidden gem 💎 thanks Sandra and Antonia 🎉🎉🎉🙏🙏🙏

We had an amazing stay at inner-light yoga and left feeling rejuvenated physically, mentally, and spirituality. The pool in the backyard as well as the yoga studio and landscaping throughout the property, were beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed Federica’s 7am yoga, followed by a healthy and delicious breakfast at 8am made by her husband! Great location with plenty of restaurants and the beach within walking distance. Highly recommend the reiki and massage provided on the property. Would gladly come back again and recommend it to other guests looking for a relaxing stay.

The place is beautiful and well organized. Close to the Los Sueños Beach club, and Marina. Sometimes you get to see and hear the scarlet macaws near by, but the condo itself is very quiet. Host is wonderful, very helpful and responsive to our questions.

Lovely property right on the beach. Breakfast and use of the pool at their sister property a couple doors down was a huge plus. Staff was responsive and very helpful. Beach was safe, enjoyable and overall a great place for families.

I loved, the place, the hosts, the dog, the peace. Felt right like family. I would definitely go back there another time when the occasion come. Absolutely nothing bad to about this experience.

This place is so special!! Wonderful hosts, gorgeous nature/property. We did the bioluminescent kayak tour and it was so magical - don’t skip it! Hosts were super communicative and helpful in our getting there, and made it so easy to arrange the tour and the breakfast add-ons. They recommended a walkable dinner spot for us that blew our minds it was so great. The unit is so cute and rustic in the best way, with the most incredible view. The steps down to the water and hangout/breakfast area are no joke, so definitely make sure you are prepared to go up them at least 1x per day.

Anna and Michael were phenomenal hosts and so welcoming! We are so happy we started our trip with them. They provided great tips about traveling around Costa Rica and we learned so much. Chef Michael’s food and margaritas were outstanding!! Highly recommend the pork loin and fresh catch. Their private patio provided a great atmosphere for wildlife and peaceful vibes!! Pura vida

We had already stayed before and came back because a very quiet and beautiful place, I recommend it!

Dione's room is separated from her house by a short walkway and porch where we ate breakfast and chatted each morning. She makes something different each day. The private room included a mini frig, excellent air conditioning and was otherwise well-appointed. I loved the thick towels! We really enjoyed the birds in the trees around the house, hearing the howler monkeys and seeing white-faced monkeys at a distance. We appreciated Dione's tips on local experience gems and, of course, the fine sand of beautiful Playa Carrillo. We strongly recommend this host and AirBnB!

My time at Joes place was enjoyable, the place is cozy and the people taking care of the place are lovely. Beach, cafes and great restaurants are all within few minutes walking. I would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay with Julio and Mauro! The place was very clean and cozy. Breakfast every morning was delicious and fresh. We loved having a well-equipped kitchen, very practical. Julio and Mauro are very friendly and attentive hosts – we were welcome from the moment we were. We would definitely come back!

This was a beautiful location with an even more beautiful view! Ivan was such an amazing host with a wonderful family and restaurant. We couldn’t have imagined a better stay. And the meals were out of this world! Delicious! We hope to return here one day and definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and amazing space. 10/10
