Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Montezuma County

Where do we start. The property is stunning from the massive historic house to 300 acres of beauty. Coming from Arizona the color in the trees was breathetaking. Enjoying the stars and sunrise from the hot tub was amazing. We rode our quads from one corner of the property to the other seeing deer and cows and stunning views. The house had everything from games for the kids (indoor and outside) to beautifully prepared kitchen. Nice linens and towels and thoughtful details throughout the house. You could feel the love and thoughtfulness for their guests in every detail. Only a 20 min drive from Durango which was perfect when we needed something, or just 9 mins into Mancos to the nearest store. Met the owner as we checked out and she was as sweet as they come. We couldn’t have felt more welcomed. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of space for all. Rancho Serendo will be a destination we go back to for sure!

The pictures of the house do not do it justice. This is a beautiful house in the country. Very quiet with great views. Less than 15 minutes from Mesa Verde NP and 40 minutes from Durango.

Sarah and Patrick were incredibly welcoming. The space feels clean, private and secluded, but is still very close to downtown! The hot tub in the morning sun is A+, too. Will definitely stay again!

This was a great place for us. The four of us had plenty of room and everything we needed was in the house. We spent our nights in the hot tub and around the fire pit. Ken and Lou Ann were very helpful and responsive if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend staying here. 5 Stars from St Louis.

Sue has a beautiful home with phenomenal views from every room. The home was the perfect space for our family of six. Everyone had their own space and the amenities are endless. Sue is a great communicator and the home was very easy to find. The house has a fabulous kitchen. We were very pleased with our stay.

Wonderful private location with beautiful stunning views and we found it very convenient and relaxing having the fenced area off the deck for our dogs. The lake provided a peaceful view from the house and deck and we enjoyed seeing the boats and water-skiers. This location is really dreamy and we found the house and furnishings to be in great shape. Mark provided special effort when something was left behind by us and mailed it promptly to our home address. Thanks so much Mark! Overall a very nice and pleasant experience!!

The cabin was exactly as described. All of the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for a family of 5. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly be need. The RV park had a pool and 2 hot tubs. My kids enjoyed the pool after a day of hiking. Be careful when pulling into the RV park at night, the entrance isn't lit super great.

My husband, me and my three children truly enjoyed our stay! We tried to go to Dolores twice a year and more excited to know that we found a new place for the family to stay everything about. It is absolutely perfect we just wish we could bring our dogs 🖤 It was easy access the river was beautiful, cozy outdoor firepit ! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking! The house was well stocked of anything that we needed that we may have forgotten and the host was extremely easy to contact when needed. We notice some flyers for the ranch next-door and was able to enjoy an afternoon of horseback riding one minute from the home!! The next day, we went ouray our favorite place ! We had a large family stay at James place and the space worked out very well for us. It's an older cabin but updated nicely inside. The biggest standout for us was the view from the deck. The lake and the sunsets were spectacular. It is centrally located for activities in the southwest corner of Colorado.

We visited Cortez for a Dark Sky adventure. In addition to visiting the national park/monuments in the area to see the night sky, we were able to enjoy the stars from the dock by the pond. The house is in a beautiful setting, which is very peaceful. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our group of 7 adults. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when we asked for information on the area. The office area had lots of great maps and history information, too!
