Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Montgomery Village

We stayed here for a couple nights with our two kids and dog and it worked well. Plenty of space for us. They do mention that the ceiling is very low and there are quite a few steps which are both very true but it is manageable. There is free parking right on their street which was a huge draw but construction limited the spaces when we were there, but Brian & Jess were helpful and we found free parking on the next street with no issue. We used public transportation to get around and it was very convenient and easy, two different bus stops super close by and easy to get to the metro. Lastly, it was so hot and very humid when we were there, the apartment is in the basement and it was musty and damp in the morning. Brian & Jess were helpful when we brought up, and were told the mini split unit has a dehumidifier setting and it seemed to help some. Brian & Jess were responsive and nice, and we’d recommend staying here when visiting DC!

The Rusty Rose was more than I anticipated. The creepy old floors that made me feel like I was at my Grandparents house in Indiana. We loved the homey feel! If we venture to the area again, we won’t think twice… this is where we will look at staying again.

My girlfriends and I went to Hood College and the 25th year reunion brought us back to Frederick. Kristopher's house was the perfect house to accommodate the eight of us. Plus, the friends that live in the area were able to stop by and come visit. It was easy to find, we walked to downtown Frederick on Friday and Saturday. It really made our reunion weekend so amazing and we would stay again. Thank you Kristopher for your warm and inviting home and the lovely hospitality!

I had a wonderful stay at 7 Elms. I had to come to the area for a work event in Gainesville, and my team and I decided to stay at this AirBNB. It was so lovely. Such a cool restoration of an old farmhouse, and the property was serene and wonderful. We didn't have time to explore the area, as we were working so much and long hours. the only thing I can speak to is the grocery store - and it had everything. We saw a bunch of wild animals during morning coffee time, and that was really special. I don't think I've actually ever seen groundhogs in person, and there's a hysterical duo that run the show. The hosts were easy to communicate with.

Great place with great restaurants within walking distance, will stay again.

This house had everything we needed for our stay. The added benefit was we could bring our small dogs. The yard was fenced so our dogs couldn’t run out. We used the park and ride at the Grosvenor station on the red line about a 15 minute ride. Patricia even left our dogs some yummy dog treats. We had an enjoyable stay!!

From booking to check out, Jon was very responsive and made us feel completely at home.

Harmony Lodge was the perfect getaway to relax with my husband and our dog. The lodging itself is clean, quiet, and well equipped for a vacation weekend . The kitchenette is cozy but has all of the basic utensils and several options to cook food. The bedrooms were spacious. Upstairs the loft is a great spot to unwind. The pool was just as idyllic as it looks in the pictures. But the best part is how ideal her property is set up for dogs. The smartly fenced off areas between the pool, her home, and our entrance was the best experience I have had renting a space while traveling with my pup. Elisa was very respectful of our privacy but also a super friendly host. We enjoyed chatting with her and meeting her pups. We found plenty to do within ~20 minutes of the property: hiking, birding, tasty places to eat and found some good beer. I can't recommend Harmony Lodge enough for anyone looking to unwind with their dog AND enjoy the luxury of a swim!

Nathan has a lovely home—it feels like stepping back in time into one of old Washington’s charming houses. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with Nathan was excellent. The location is convenient, about a 25-minute walk to Capitol Hill. While the surrounding area could be better—the streets were a bit dirty—it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect our overall experience. We had a wonderful time in Washington, and staying at this house was definitely part of it. Thank you, Nathan!

Cute & spacious boho apartment. My family of 5 was very comfortable inside. Metro & restaurants were close by (5 min or less walk). Free parking pass was great. Currently there is a lot of construction happening in the parking garage and on the street but it wasn’t too loud and once you got used to the few streets that were closed it was easy to drive and walk around the neighborhood.

Awesome spot! Comfortable, private and peaceful. Great host, very responsive and friendly. Easy access to DC, National Mall, Arlington etc… Go see the Space Shuttle Discovery at the Air and Space Museum. Coolest thing I’ve ever seen.

Great value for your money. You won’t regret this choice

We enjoyed a comfortable 7 night stay with our daughter, son-in law and 2 years old granddaughter who traveled from Oslo, Norway. Oleg is very kind and responsive, the best host we have ever encountered. After we requested some bedding for crib, he ordered them right away and sent us a nice little blanket and a small pillow for our granddaughter in the next morning! He even let us to keep the bedding! The apartment is clean and neat and has all the conveniences needed. It is in a great location, convenient walk to metro, above WholeFoods and other nice restaurants/Starbucks and CVS. We highly recommend the apartment to those who plan to stay in the North Bethesda area.

My stay at Temi’s was nice and I miss it already! I felt safe even at night. A bus stop is a 6 minute walk away and the metro station is about a mile away. Temi is very responsive and the friendliest host I’ve had. For it to be basement unit there were not a lot of bugs, which was a concern for me, just a few spiders. Temi will communicate with you and the other guest to coordinate them coming down to wash their clothes. The cleaning she uses is amazing and does a great job at cleaning the space.

This was my first visit to Silver Springs MD and staying here made it even nicer. The place was clean, quiet, and just as described. It’s a basement unit, with stairs to access it, but they were manageable. Abel responded quickly whenever I had a question. I came to visit family and felt comfortable during my stay.

We were in town to visit family and take care of some business in DC. We stayed at Colleen’s place for 4 nights with our 3 young adult children. It was beautiful, spacious and well equipped for us to hang out and have several meals together in the kitchen/living area. We were there during an extreme heat wave and the first and second floor stayed a crisp climate controlled 69-73 degrees. The air conditioning struggled to get up to the third floor but Colleen kindly brought a fan over for our son to use on our last night there.

A wonderful home with great amenities and a very kind, helpful and responsive host. She respected our privacy and accommodated everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna were lovely. She even had a plastic pool for our dogs to play in. The house was well stocked and clean. There was clear communication from booking to checkout. We would for sure stay again!

Yue’s place is great and especially quiet. It is conveniently located near grocery, pharmacy, and banks. The most attractive though is a lake close by that is great for walks. Everything worked well and Yue was very responsive- always asking if there is more she can do. I will definitely come back again. One caution is the flight of stairs so if you are elderly or have a bad knee, that might be a problem.

We stayed here for a few days while we were moving. The house was located close to major highways, local shops, restaurants and sports activities. There was plenty of space to host us all (6). Home was in a quiet location, everything was comfortable and clean. Our host was very friendly and responsive. We had a great time!

Great place to spend a long weekend celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. Jessica was great to work with - very responsive, provided clear instructions, great restaurant recommendation, went over and above. Grandkids visited for a day and Jessica arranged for them to feed Jimmy and Dean (two pot belly pigs) and gather eggs from the hens. Cosette (our pup) had a great time roaming the farm and making friends with everybody. Highly recommend.

Nice neighborhood, quiet, tree-lined street. Vered and Devir were very responsive! Also nice -- they offered (unsolicited) to let me check out later than check out time since they weren't going to have place cleaned until next day. Also provided bottled water and snacks, a nice touch! Can't speak to walkability to restaurants, stores, etc. since I had many different places to go and used my car a lot. My only (minor) issue was that I didn't find the pillows to be comfortable. But there's a cool area nearby called "Pike & Rose" with shops and restaurants.
