Bungalow holiday rentals in Mo'orea

Traveling on a budget, this is the perfect place on Moorea! Cozy one room bungalow, bathroom separate. Great outdoor sitting area with beautiful view. The beach, right off the deck, is superb. It’s raked daily of tide debris. I spent time napping/ reading in the hammock. I ventured out several times for a swim/ snorkeling. Great snorkeling spot! Kayaks available, but I didn’t use them. I was entertained by stingrays, tiny sharks(totally harmless), and beach crabs close to beach. I even touched the well known stingray that hangs around. The owners pets were a plus for me as I was missing my own. Happy rescued dogs loving head scratches from new people has a special place in my heart. The owners are extremely sweet and helpful with any needs or advice on eating/ to do establishments. To Americans, this would be a slight step up from “ glamping”. I absolutely loved this place. No ac, but breezy and fan kept us comfortable. I’m telling friends visiting about this place planning their trip

Marie-Hélène’s listing was very close to a gorgeous coral beach and she and her partner Italo were extremely helpful, communicative, and considerate. The rustic lodging was perfect for a relaxing stay close to nature. We loved our week long stay!

What a special rental. A blue and white inspired bungalow that is located right on the water. Step out into the back yard and through the gate and you are in the water. Off to the right is the beach. A good outdoor kitchen if you choose to cook at home with table and bench to enjoy your meal listening to the ocean. Great spot to view marine life pass by. We truly enjoyed our 3 nights here. We had a great time at Frédérique's: private bungalow overlooking the beach and extremely charming environment with beautiful tiares, we can only recommend it and can't wait to go back...

We feel so lucky to have found this little bit of paradise on our travels! A stunning property right on the lagoon where you can snorkel and where you can watch amazing sunrises! We stayed in the beautiful big bungalow at The Blue Pineapple. Along with the beauty of the design, it was well stocked with all you may need for an extended stay! However, what really made this an exceptional experience, was the hospitality and good care given us by our host, Virginia! We can’t thank her enough for all she did to make this an amazing stay.! Mauruuru, Virginia! You should count yourself lucky to— lucky indeed— if you have a chance to stay here… We are already planning our return.

We loved this place. It had everything we needed & short distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Kayak was a PLUS! Moehau was quick to respond to the yard debris smoke from the neighbors. We will definitely share this place with our family and friends. Thanks a bunch!

We had the most amazing time at Elisabeth and Gilles. We loved their beautiful bungalow surrounded by a fruit garden and the amazing outdoor kitchen. Absolutely lovely hosts, who recommended activities and were always open to any questions - it was the perfect stay in moorea! With a scooter it only took us 30min to get way up north for snorkeling tours etc. They also had a dog which was super friendly and cute!! we loved it there and will definitely go back.

A beautiful meeting! The accommodation is impeccable. Very functional, clean and with the A/C. Private access to the beach with lots of fish and kayak available. Pool on the terrace and host of incredible kindness. Maruru for this lovely moment.

Ramanui was the best Airbnb host we have ever had, not only was he very quick to respond he was extremely friendly and went above and beyond even going as far as to check the weather for us before our arrival after I expressed I was worried it might rain! Upon arrival he greeted us in person and even brought us fruits from his garden and some eggs for us to have for breakfast!! He gave us amazing recommendations and even offered to help us at the ferry if needed and even if we came back to different islands in the future and said we could text him if we wanted help!! He was consistently amazing and the whole house and area is absolutely breathtaking! I genuinely could not recommend this place more!! I can’t even describe in words how amazing and helpful of a host Ramanui was!!! If I come back to Moorea it is no question that I will stay here again! ☺️☺️

We had the chance to stay at Christine and Christian's. They are two very beautiful people, of extreme kindness. We were advised on activities, places to visit, restaurants... The accommodation itself is functional, the bedding excellent. We didn't miss a thing. Go ahead with your eyes closed, you will have no regrets. We will definitely come back and recommend this Airbnb to our loved ones!

I spent four nights at Karine's bungalow and only wish my stay were longer. It's easy to find and access via lockbox, and everything was clean and tidy when I checked in (early). I liked the simple decoration. It's a studio but the patio and outdoor kitchen and grassy area made it feel larger than it was, to me. I think a couple + child/teen would be comfortable here. The AC was very effective, although after the first night I stopped using it as the sea breeze kept me cool. WiFi was good. Across the road is private access to a sandy beach and the ocean. Karine provides snorkel gear and some kayaks. A car is essential but it's a very short drive to Temae Beach, Viare Pizza and some roulottes, a supermarket, and the Sofitel for Happy Hour! Moorea is small enough that any location is accessible. One downside is that there is a garage behind the property and (work) life starts early in Polynesia. I wasn't bothered but ear plugs might be necessary for you.

Elodie and Renauld were pleasant, friendly and gracious hosts. The location is amazing.....most of the time there was a wonderful breeze with the sound of the water lapping the shore just steps away. There are many reef areas to snorkel. It was enjoyable to kayak right from shore. The sunsets......spectacular! The location was not far from amazing beaches, eateries and restaurants. I hope to visit Moorea again and would stay here again if it's available!
