Beachfront holiday rentals in Moorea-Maiao

John's place is clean, well located on the West Coast close to restaurants and a public beach. The nights are quiet! We don't even hear the roosters 😂 and after a few atolls it feels good. Located on the ground floor of a house, it's a little dark it's true but Moorea lives outside and everything necessary to spend a few days is available, including air conditioning for the most demanding. I have personally rented a scooter by his recommendations to travel the whole island. John and his mom are adorable, easily offer a hike or even drive around the island: nothing is overrated, everything is true, simple and deeply human.

Jean-Pierre was an amazing host. He walked us through the check in process and even had some food in the fridge for us to start out. This was AMAZING because we had a long flight and just wanted to go to bed. We had enough to start us out for breakfast in the morning before heading to the store the following day. My husband and I appreciate everything this space and Jean-Pierre had to offer.

Dolly was very nice and accommodating with our needs. Her family leaves near by which makes it a friendly and welcoming place. We would definitely come back!

Just got home from 4 days here and we had a wonderful time. The location is great. Close to the airport and great beaches. The view from the balcony is worth it!! More than enough space for the two of us. We appreciated the beach access, ocean view, close location to a couple restaurants and a grocery store. The unit felt safe and quiet. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking.

This place was amazing! Tamara is so kind, very quick to respond to any question. We needed a ride from the ferry terminal and she set us up with a driver to meet us there and even to stop at a grocery store to get food. The place is BEAUTIFUL, we loved cooking in the outdoor kitchen and loved the open feel. The private beach access was great too, we saw reef sharks, an eagle ray and turtle from just off the shore. She was very flexible with check in, and walked us through everything clearly to know all we needed to know. Would DEFINITELY recommend staying here!

Beautiful, peaceful location! The home & property are well maintained. We loved the pool & outdoor sitting areas. The garden area is a tropical oasis. And the friendly outdoor kitty 🐈‍⬛ was an added bonus. The kitchen is well equipped including spices for cooking. There are a few nearby restaurants. A rental car is essential. This home is ideal for one or two couples. Owners were very responsive.

Without a doubt: the best stop I made on my trip. Clean accommodation in a magical environment: sea view, feet on the beach. Marie-Jo and John invited me to their table as a friend: and we were able to chat for a long time in the evening. A night I'll keep in mind!! I can only recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa! The surroundings were magical, the location was excellent, and the views could not be beat. The villa is spacious and beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. We are a family of four and everyone loved it and looks forward to returning. We had a fantastic stay at Te Fare Iti. The location is amazing - right on the water and a short walk from Cooks Bay. We loved the kayaks, the pool and the views of dolphins and sharks from our room! There is a car rental immediately opposite which we booked at short notice for a good price (7500), and several affordable restaurants within walking distance. It is easy to walk to the centre of Maharepa along the road.

Best host and stay I’ve had on Airbnb. Friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to accommodate us. I would stay at this place again for sure.

Lovely views. Location on island was great. The place itself was good. Not super luxurious (especially the plasticy mattress pad that squeaked every time you moved ) but had everything we needed and felt comfortable. I liked arriving back to our villa daily. Coffee on the deck every morning was spectacular to watch the sunrise. Never used the amenities (pool or gym) as we were only there for 3 days. They looked ok.

Great place and location.

We arrived after 10pm and Tituaua was there with a warm greeting and tour of the space and amenities. She had a cold bottle of water and some snacks waiting for us, and got us hooked up to the wifi. The space is exactly like the photos. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. There is occasional street noise, but it's very quiet at night. The shower was really nice and had good water flow for washing thick hair. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking if you want to. Titaua is a lovely host, we had a few lovely mornings sharing coffee and conversation. Also, her dog, Luna, is an absolute love who joined us whenever we were outside, including swimming all over the lagoon with us. We drove all over the island and snorkeled at all the public beaches on Tahiti & Moorea, but by far the best reefs and fish and clearest waters were right off our beach. The only challenge is that the shore is all rocks and you have to walk out a bit to get deep enough water. I really hope to return!

Vaimiti was a great host from the day we arrived until we left. The place was very clean as described, had the basic necessities, beautiful location and view a pool was a plus. Our driver had difficulty getting there at night, vaimiti was very helpful and got us there safe. If you are looking for a place to stay in Tahiti I would highly recommend this place.

We had a heavenly stay in this beautiful beachfront home. Only downside: the third bedroom is actually the mezzanine so no privacy and no air conditioning. We would still be happy to come back because the setting is simply idyllic.

We loved our stay. The place is situated in such a special spot. It’s close to the reef break so we’re able to see plenty of whales while still able to enjoy the beach and lagoon. The house is so well curated with local art and has such a special feel to it. It’s feels more like a home with all the beautiful artwork and small touches than a cold hotel with or typical air b&b which we really appreciated. We have been to Moorea several times and will return again and hope to stay here again. The pool and view are wonderful additions to the already spectacular property.

Location, location, location!! It’s a quaint, rustic bungalow located right on the beach. You fall asleep and awake to the dim thunder of the waves crashing on the outer reef and the gentle waves lapping the shore. The beach was great for swimming, sunning, and relaxing. A grocery store and a couple of the island’s nicer restaurants were only a 10 minute drive away. If you’re looking for a nice, basic, and affordable place to stay right on the beach in Moorea, this is it.

Mauruuru Asenata! It was a pleasure to be your guest. The house has everything you need to have great vacation in Moorea. Restaurants and supermarkets are close by, even without a car. Great view from the terrace to mountains. They have sweet red cat in the property, who is the guardian of the house. But the best part was Asenatas niece Elodie. She has a heart of gold. Elodie greets you with the biggest smile and open warm heart ❤️ thank you so much

Beautiful setting. Small but everything you need. A little warm with no AC but the fan and open air helped. The water pressure wasn’t the best, and the hot water was hard to get going at a strong pressure but the bathroom had everything you need. The proximity to the ocean couldn’t be beat. The kitty is so sweet, we named her Minou because we didn’t know her name but she came to it :) Would definitely return and rent again. Lani stopped by on the last day and was so sweet. 5 stars for price, locations, minimalist, and friendly host. Super easy to find with provided photo.

Very clean accommodation, well-equipped, very nice location, quiet. The restaurant on site is very convenient and the food is good. Kevin is very available and warm. Address to recommend!!

We had a great time in Chantal’s bungalow. A nice little beach with great snorkeling. Lots of fish and turtles. Chantal and Christian were very nice hosts, we enjoyed talking to them . This is a great spot to stay to explore the Island

We had a wonderful time at this little oasis in Pā'ea. The Happy Market (groceries, etc.) at the end of the driveway, the stunning sunsets, the sweet fragrance of the Ylang Ylang flowers, the beautiful lagoon to snorkel, swim or kayak in, the start lit sky...it was absolutely lovely. Not touristy which was perfect. We attended church on Sunday just a few minutes away. A few tips...wear swim shoes or flip-flops in the water as coral and rock are prevalent. Current can be a little pushy (nothing major), but the snorkeling is awesome. Use the kayak for a peaceful experience. A few locals use the beach and it's neat to see them fish or gather as family or friends. Very friendly. Dogs are prevalent on the island, but they tend to ignore you, unless you want to pet them. Roosters, chickens are also prevalent, and you'll hear them at the crack of dawn. We got up early anyway due to the time difference. Sun sets between 5:30pm and 6:30pm depending on time of year. Best place to relax & enjoy!
