That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

We put comfort in the top seat and can offer high quality beds and bedding, access to water and electricity and everything that is needed to ensure a memorable stay. Take a bath in the tub, make yourself a delicious dinner on the campfire. If you love mountains and hiking, there are great hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity, where you can enjoy the view of Nordmøre's fjord landscape or try your luck at fishing. Cabin at Fjellsetra, Sykkylven

Spacious cabin with great views and hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski in/ski out) and nice prepared cross-country trails and floodlit trails are just nearby. The area also has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice mountain trips in summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy a fishing license).

I idylliske og vakre Sykkylvsfjorden ligger en nybygd hytte, helt i vannkanten. Høy standard. Separat sauna til fri benyttelse. Stille, fredelig, med fantastisk utsikt over fjord og fjell, 10 m fra vannkanten. 70m2 pluss stort rom på bryggenivå. Unik utforming, store vindusflater, og rom på flere nivåer. Ett soverom med dobbelseng, og stor sovesofa på hems/TV-stuen. Flislagt bad ved soverom. Underetasjen med dobbel port, utsyn over fjorden, og med eget toalett/vaskerom og kjøleskap/frys.

My cottage is located in a beautiful area ideal for spectacular hiking, skiing, fishing(there is a small (tiny) boat available), kayaking, SUP-boarding, yoga and all kinds of recreational activities. I also have a new wood fired sauna available right at the beach. Hytta ble bygget i 2023 og ligger midt i Sunnmørsalpene, med tur- og sykkelterreng rett utenfor døra og fjordene en kort kjøretur unna. Frisbeegolfbane og ballbinge like ved, sommeråpen gondol med kafé på Strandafjellet, og Geiranger, Trollstigen og Valldal innen en times kjøring. Kort sagt: en komfortabel base for aktive sommerdager, enten du vil bestige topper eller bare senke tempoet med utsikt over fjellene. Og kommer du om vinteren, går du rett ut på ski.
