Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Morongo Valley

We were looking for peace and quiet, close to Joshua Tree for dawn hikes and stargazing nights. This cabin was perfect for it. And when the day got super hot, we stayed in, relaxed on the patio checking out cute wildlife scurrying outside. Only used the hot tub once in the morning before it got hot, and it's a treat when the weather permits. All in all...loved the stay!!!

We cannot say thank you enough for this peaceful oasis. The entire home is infused with care and thoughtfulness. We immediately felt at home. It’s even more beautiful than the pictures can show. You get a safe, lovely space to really experience being immersed in desert life. Josh and Don were the perfect hosts. Very quick to respond and help us out, but never intrusive. I filled up a whole page in the guest book with all the wonderful core memories my family built in this special place. There is an entrance to the park 10 minutes away, which allowed us to easily hike, nature, walk, picnic everyday. We will definitely be returning to this house to experience Joshua tree in different seasons. Thank you again! The Sowells

second time here and had a lovely trip!! there were only three forks in the kitchen so be mindful of that and maybe buy some plastic ones if you have a big group and plan to cook

Andrew’s home was simply stunning! Beautiful, very clean and well put together. We enjoyed using the grill and hot tub in the evening, and found the entire house supremely comfortable with the most beautiful views. It was close to amenities and we did a fun day trip to Joshua tree from here. Andrew was also extremely helpful and responsive prior and during our stay! Highly recommend!

Beautiful house in middle of yucca valley which is not too far from civilization, but feels distant enough. Great place for vacation. Will come back!

Tranquil- that’s the word that comes to mind to describe this place. Imagine flying four and half hours to the wrong airport (should’ve flown into Palm Springs) and then driving another two and half hours to this house. When we walked in, the first thing we noticed was the huge windows that open to the back patio/pool area. The soft music playing immediately set the tone for our stay. Regardless of what it took to get here- it was absolutely worth it!! Whatever questions I had- Nat and Lou answered extremely quickly. All we wanted to do was relax and be away, unplugged and that is exactly what we got with this place. From the bathrooms to the kitchen to the bedrooms, everything was clean and fresh. The backyard patio was something we enjoyed throughout the whole trip. Nothing like early morning in the pool before the June heat and again in the evening while BBQing on the grill. I see why this place had over 400 reviews and all five stars. Will absolutely return soon.

This is now going to be my fiancé and mines go to vacation spot, really nice place and great pools, we will be coming back!

We had a wonderful week stay! Location is perfect to get into the park and town of Joshua Tree as well as an easy drive to 29 Palms, Yucca Valley, Palm Springs, Pioneer Town. The house was large (big dining/living room/master bed) with comfortable beds and great linens. Kitchen had most of what we needed to cook meals at home. We had a few issues with fans/ac, but the hosts were very responsive. Cowboy tub wasn't up and running, so you may want to message host to see if it's back if you are looking forward to it. There is an outdoor table for 4 and a few other outdoor chairs as well. We especially loved sitting in the back yard, which is very private and large, among many beautiful desert plants, animals (lots of birds, rabbits, and lizards!), and stars!

Everything was just as I had hoped it would be and leaving the ac on for me and also letting me have an early checkin I really appreciated those 2 things most of all and that made my trip start out on the right foot so it was a great stay. Thank you so much.

I stayed at this cute one-bedroom studio for Coachella, and it was just what we needed! It was a bit small, but it had all the essentials. The location was awesome and right in a beautiful community and super close to the festival, which was perfect for us. The only downside was that if we left the bedroom door open, it got a little bit noisy with the people staying next door, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, it was a great spot, and I’d totally recommend it and would stay here again!

This apartment in Palm Springs was perfect for our stay. The location was great - in a quiet neighborhood, but also very close to restaurants, nightlife & anything you’d want to do in Palm Springs. The place itself was great - plenty of private space, and the shared pool was plenty big for us and the neighbors; there was a great community vibe. The kitchen was fully stocked with every plate, utensil & tool you can imagine as well! The hosts were very responsive & made sure we had everything we needed. Overall a great stay & k would definitely come back here!

Had a nice stay in La Quinta, our first time there. Our Airbnb condo was very nice, clean and as described. The only thing I think Nino and Allie could do is update the mattress in the bedroom with something more supportive. The current is very soft and a bit squeaky. The private community was quiet, clean and had multiple pools to choose from. We had a nice time for our little getaway, with the condo being perfect for our needs, and we hope to be back soon. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay at the casita. Its location in calm La Quinta is a short drive from Empire Polo Club, Indian Wells, and a ton of restaurants/activities. Amazing view of the mountains during the day. We also really liked the neighborhood itself. It had a cool artsy vibe to it with every house having its own charm to it. The home itself was great and clean. Spacious two bedroom / one bath with a well-furnished kitchen, living room, and small bar area. Lots of neat artwork and decorations. The pool is also well-furnished with chairs and loungers. It is technically shared with the main house, but every time we went we had it to ourselves. Overall the hosts were very respective of our privacy while also being very responsive and helpful over messages. I highly recommend.

Beautifully designed and furnished home. Mind the 1.5 miles of dirt road in case your vehicle’s not off-road ready.

Spacious and beautiful house with great amenities. The pool and backyard area was great, lots of lounging space and plenty of room. Casita was gorgeous and we liked the style. Plenty of games, puzzles and activities! Jeffery was responsive, helpful and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

A comfortable staycation. The high desert always brings my family and I joy and this house was perfect for us. It had everything we needed and more. It was very clean, roomy and scenic. The backyard is literally the mountains, which makes the pool so much more enjoyable, it was just the perfect space. The stargazing at night is always memorable too especially when the outdoor furniture is nice and comfortable. We will definitely be recommending.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! The pool was perfect and we relaxed during the day while it was too hot to hike in Joshua Tree National Park. The desert views from the pool area in the backyard were incredible and made us feel like we were still in the national park. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The indoor/outdoor cactus planter by the front door was my favorite part. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

It was a fantastic 3 days we had, we celebrated Father's Day, Promotion and Graduations. We all had such a great time. The house is clean, the beds are just like hotel beds and we all love it. It will be more fun if we're able to swim during the day if only there are shades and the pool a bit cleaner. But overall it was a sweet and awesome time and place to spend with your loved ones. Will definitely recommend it with our friends.

The place was just what we wanted and just what was described. Nicely updated and furnished. spacious bathroom, and single room. Just a mini fridge, micro, and Keurig, just as was advertised. Would stay again, and have already reccomended it.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by this place! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could possibly need. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming and comfortable space — from the cozy linens to the well-stocked kitchen and thoughtful local recommendations. The location was perfect — close enough to everything we wanted to explore, but tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and private. Waking up to a beautiful view was something we’ll never forget.
