The cabin is ideally set amongst tall gums. You will wake to sweeping rural views with a sense of peace and tranquility. We have tried to create a special place for couples and pets (including horses) to get away from it all. This character filled cabin is only 3 minutes from town and 10 minutes from pristine beaches. Enjoy weekly markets and activities such as kayaking, swimming, skydiving etc Or just sit back and relax
“This is by far the best views I've had from an Airbnb. Paul and Denise gave some awesome local tips of things to do and even ways to drive back home. The cabin has a kitchen so you don't have to eat out and the whole cabin is spacious. I will definitely be going back to this area, Moruya is a beautiful part of the world IF YOU CHOOSE TO STAY HERE: Listen to Paul and Denise's directions on how to get there! Don't try be a hero like me and use google. Google maps will trick you into following a track that is impossible to drive. The hosts give you the most direct route. trust in them.”
15 mins from town and beaches, our fully self-contained unit is at the end of a country road and butts up against a state forest. No traffic, no other guests, no nothing to worry about
“This stay is not about the accommodation, it’s about the setting! Don’t get me wrong... The accommodation meets anyone’s needs. It’s clean, tidy, has all the amenities you would require etc. It’s once you step out of the accommodation dreams happen... Rolling hills, open land, alpacas, sheep, horses and 2 lovely dogs. The kids could roam and play on the swings and Chris become their idol following him around to help out with the animals. We have stayed at a few places on Air Bnb and as lovely as they have been, would we go back? Probably not. Here though is different. It was about the overall experience and we loved it and I can see us going back year after year. Thank you to Chris and his family.”
Our cottage is on the outskirts of Moruya town, adjoining rural property. 10 min drive to beaches. Mogo village, Mogo Zoo and Batemans Bay are 20 min to the North, and Bodalla Dairy and art galleries are 20 min to the South. Moruya has plenty of cafes and you can enjoy the popular Riverside Markets every Sat morning or the SAGE growers markets every Tues afternoon. OR simply relax with a wine & BBQ or a cuppa on the front verandah, or snuggle inside with the woodstove on.
“Had an excellent stay at Viv’s home. Although the house feels beautiful, cosy and homely it also feels like everything is brand new as the house is impeccably tidy. Lovely, cosy fireplace inside as well as a large, spacious backyard complete with beautiful front and back decks to enjoy a morning coffee. Viv was so helpful and communicated everything quickly and timely. Would recommend to any friends or family wanting to stay at the south coast. Thanks for having us!!”
