In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). Most of the house, including the bathroom and toilet, will be renovated in 2024. 20 minutes by car from Eiheiji Temple. 15 minutes by car from the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. 3 minutes on foot from the nearest station. There are four 6-tatami Japanese-style rooms, a Western-style room, a bathroom, toilet, and washroom. Free parking is also available. A lodging where you can feel the Japanese countryside.
