House holiday rentals in Mount Scott - Arleta, Portland

We had a wonderful time at Kathryn's home! It was the ideal location for our plans, a quiet neighborhood with groceries and food options very close by. Our kids had a perfect day using the pool, and all the necessary amenities. Kathryn was very responsive and friendly. We're so excited to stay again!

This is a lovely bungalow in a great neighborhood close to all Portland has to offer! The house is comfortable, clean, well stocked and we loved hanging on the front porch in the sunshine. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom’s had nice showers. We weren’t made aware there is a tenant in the basement unit until we received check in info the day before. Host was responsive to my concerns about thinking we had a rented an entire house to ourselves (apparently all Airbnbs in Oregon must have a resident living on the property? This was news to me, but maybe not to future renters). I think they could have done more to ensure we knew someone else was on the property (there are no shared utilities or doors, but we could hear the person downstairs at bedtime, and we were concerned our family with small kids would be audible to them as well). Again it’s a great house, I just wish we had known someone was under us when we chose it.

Cameron is a fantastic host with an immaculate and gorgeous property that was very comfortable for our group of ten. Quiet and peaceful setting with panoramic views of Mt Hood and the Sandy River canyon.

We spent the weekend at Sunburst Inn as part of a mom’s weekend away. Nicholas was a phenomenal & accommodating host. When we notified him of an unforeseen issue in the house, he quickly jumped in and found a fix for us. The location was awesome—a nice mix of things to do around and access to the outdoors.

Wendy's place was perfectly and conveniently located for our needs. The place was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed. We would love to stay again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay here in late May/early June 2025 for my son’s graduation family trip. It was very clean, had all the essential amenities, and the hot tub was very relaxing after long days exploring the Pacific Northwest. The neighborhood is very safe, peaceful, and quiet. Luke was a wonderful host! Definitely recommend staying here!

Rose City Hideaway (RCH) is an amazing little place right in the the heart of Portland. We had everything we needed (dining, groceries, bars, etc.) within a very short distance. The hosts provided everything we could have wanted or needed, including accommodation for our two Vespa scooters as we were in town for a Vespa rally. The furniture is comfortable and everything is modern and clean. Amanda and Mike were very friendly and helpful. They made themselves available should we have needed assistance, yet allowed us to enjoy the space without interruption. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Portland!

Lynne’s Airbnb was well worth the stay. Had everything from an amazing view to an extremely comfortable house that you could sit back and relax in after a night out in Portland. Would definitely recommend it for those looking for nice getaway from the city.

We loved our stay here! Super cozy and clean! The hosts were very responsive and flexible with our check in. Parking on the street was convenient. Nice air conditioning and comfy bed. Would love to stay here again, Thank you!

We really enjoyed the privacy. The porch outside was really nice to hangout on. We bbq'd. Had room to prep inside. We had our kiddo (our dog) and she was also really happy to be there. We didn't notice the tenants in the house. Wouldn't have mattered. They were very respectful sharing the space. There was a privacy fence between us. We found everything we needed.

This was the perfect location for our trip. A home away from home that allowed us to easily plan day trips. Its central location and parking spot in the driveway made getting around and back home easy. Bed was on the firmer side, which I enjoyed but my wife liked a bit less, due to being a side sleeper. Everything was very clean aside from one bar of soap with a hair on it left behind. I only mention it because I had to hear about it from the wife. :) I think the rain shower made it up to her though. Otherwise, very clean, and I’m sure cleaner than a downtown hotel. Overall, just a very homey, quiet place. The bottle of wine and chocolate were a nice touch. Would wholeheartedly recommend this rental.

This was the perfect location for my stay! The house had everything you might need and we even sampled the fresh raspberries in the yard, delicious 😊 Kate was a great communicator with quick responses. The cafe across the street was wonderful! We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

This home is super unique and was a great stay

First off, this was by far the nicest Air BnB that my and family and I have ever stayed at. The space itself is beautiful. Perfectly decorated and designed IMO. The beds were extremely comfortable, everything was easy to find and instructions were clear. But those details aren’t what makes this place stand out, it is the thoughtfulness and pride that has made this stand out to us. We were provided with a travel crib and a high chair set up for us, there is a booklet with local recommendations for restaurants, bars and venues, and other local attractions. We were given a personal note on arrival that just added that extra touch and Gwen was very responsive and helpful. I can’t recommend staying here enough!

Beautiful space. Loved the concrete floors, the beautiful bathroom, great light, fresh air. Location is perfect. Near restaurants, food trucks, night life. Very welcoming.

What a great comfortable house and location in Portland. Quiet neighborhood, centrally located and the attention to detail and comfort was so nice to experience . Matthew was a kind & punctual host and we truly enjoyed the uniqueness of the property. Would definitely rent again!

We loved our short stay at this Airbnb, however were put off at the fact the only way you could enter was via an alleyway and the alleyway is very narrow to the point it was difficult to get our car parked. Please make sure if you rent a car that you will need to get nothing larger than a Nissan rogue. The area was okay and very close to a lot of things however a lot of unhoused people around. They did not bother us but wasn’t expecting it to be so close. Beds were super comfortable and everything else was clean!

This is my second stay at Alexander’s for a reason. It is the perfect Airbnb. Spotless, many thoughtful touches for a traveler, easy walk to delicious food, easy drive anywhere in Portland. And Alexander is very kind and welcoming!

The house was well stocked with a lot of nice details that made staying there easier, including Tupperware, coffee, olive oil, salt, and pepper, and plenty of toilet paper!

The interior was clean and comfy. It is suitable for 2 to 3 people. The address # on next door neighboor’s fence. So we went into next door attempted to open the front door lol. Feel like someone actually living there. Then saw the check in instruction photo shown next door. There was an RV and a car park in front, but we were able to open the front door. The dinning table wobbling and the toilet seat needs to be tighten up. I think I told Jed about that.

Wayne and Danny’s house is by far the best Air BnB we have stayed in in Portland - possibly in all of the USA. Their historic house is beautifully re-done (brand- new upstairs shower is great) and the gardens are stunning. Everyone in our party is still raving about the beautiful garden. The house is spacious with plenty of ‘public’ spaces to hang out. Wayne was available anytime for questions. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our Reed graduate. Thank you so much!

Joshua's place was very comfortable and we felt right at home during our stay. The house is spacious with a lot of natural light. It's located in a nice neighborhood that's good for walking, and the Mt Scott Park is just across the street which is great for families. Joshua was also quick to respond and very helpful with any questions. This is definitely a good option if your family needs multiple bedrooms and a kitchen during your stay, and at a good price.
