Great house for a family getaway - more than enough space. Very communicative hosts which is always nice. Beautiful backyard area in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood.

The home is in a great location close to Stanford, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The home also has a tremendous amount of space and very comfortable. Our family was very happy with the house.

My family had a wonderful stay in Kelly’s home. It is beautifully appointed, spacious, with lots of character, and had everything we needed for a group stay. It was also absolutely spotless and we felt right at home. Kelly was so warm in her communication. We highly recommend this for a group visit — it is very hard to find something with three full bathrooms, and this home had lots of space for us to all relax!! Thank you, Kelly!

Bring your own lawn chairs. House was spacious and beds were comfortable. Great place for a large family visiting for a wedding or graduation. Main complaint that there is not enough chairs/couches inside and out. Would recommend another couch inside. Also big back yard is advertised but there are no chairs for sitting and enjoying outside area. They are very concerned about noise which is probably why they don’t provide seating which is too bad and quite a waste. Even four chairs would be an improvement as we were forced to take kitchen chairs out during the day. Well worth the money and responsive host. We enjoyed our time here.

This was our second stay at this location and it was truly wonderful. Was so easy to pick & drop our daughter from the Stanford campus (door to door 4 minutes). The place is spacious, very clean & well equipped with all that was needed. From our last stay looks like some renovation has taken place and that was very welcome. Kitchen was well equipped and washer dryer work great. Overall a 5 star review from us. We would certainly rent this again!

Even more beautiful in person. Loved this home!! It was very spacious and perfect for a big family. Everything was neat & lots of convenient amenities!! Host was quick to reply with any questions & very friendly too. Was a little skeptical about the surrounding neighborhood but we didn’t run into any issues at all. Family & dogs felt right at home!!

We loved the location because the house was very cool, had a fantastic view and the grounds were great. We liked walking our dog in the neighborhood. We live in Southern California in a similar neighborhood but some might find the drive to the house a little challenging but well worth it when you get there! We hope to stay again next time we visit our daughter.

This is the feeling of living in your own home. A dreamy backyard, well-equipped kitchen facilities, spacious and bright rooms—even though it's an old house, we can still enjoy the comfort of home. We loved Allison’s place so much that we came back for a second stay and it was just as wonderful as the first time! It’s a beautiful and spacious home, perfect for two families with kids. We booked it to host our cousins who were visiting California, and we all had an amazing time together. The house has all the amenities you could need a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely backyard for the kids to play, and a brand new washer and dryer. The bathrooms are modern and the high-tech bidets were a pleasant surprise!!! Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. Highly recommend this place for a fun and relaxing family getaway!

It was a unique Victorian house with plenty of off street parking. We had all needed such as kitchen appliances, dishes, washer / dryer, and other amenities. All beds were comfortable. Plenty of spacious area in bedrooms and dinning room. There are plenty of shops and stores nearby. Great access to walk on ferries for San Francisco. Highly recommend visit Alcatraz Island form Pier 33 in San Francisco, If we were to visit Alameda again, we would definitely at Jeff's place. Also Jeff is very responsive to the needs of his guest.

The house was spacious and had a great view. Checking in was smooth. The dip in the driveway was the first surprise upon arriving. We did get a warning, but even pulling in slowly did not prevent our vehicle (Toyota Sequoia) from scraping underneath. I have to be honest and say that even though the house is great, it really hasn’t been maintained well. The pictures on the listing are somewhat accurate, but if I had seen the house in its current state, I probably would have chosen another rental in the area, especially at the price we paid. The house wasn’t filthy, but there was clearly a spilled drink in the middle of the kitchen that was just left to dry and become sticky, which made me question how clean the house actually was. The towels were just rolled up and thrown on the towel racks. The couches were pretty dirty. There were horrible paint touchups all over the walls and the yards needed to be better maintained. The house served its purpose, but I honestly felt a little misled.

Gwen’s place was great!! Spacious with a very nice backyard with a pool. I wish we had more time to enjoy it!!

I booked this home for my colleagues from overseas, and they had a fantastic stay. The host was highly professional and responsive, promptly addressing all requests and ensuring everyone’s comfort throughout their visit. Their attentiveness made the experience seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Very nice place for a group of guests who came to our wedding! Very cozy and clean

We stayed at Sara's while visiting family nearby, but her home felt like a vacation in itself. The backyard is magical - we spent a fair amount of time there, swimming, grilling/dining, reading/napping. The backyard (and its myriad diversions) even lured our tech-obsessed teenagers away from their devices for extended periods. Everything was well maintained, no detail overlooked. We also enjoyed the access to a peloton bike and workout equipment. The interior was clean, organized, stylish but comfortable. The sunroom and small courtyard off of the bedrooms were great for yoga or stealing a quiet moment with a cup of coffee or book. Sara was responsive and attentive. Instruction booklet was clear and helpful. The stay exceeded our expectations. We hope to be back.

We had a great stay. The home was very comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Good pillows and towels. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the park down the road. Thanks so much.

Had an excellent stay with our family. Will is one of the best airbnb hosts we have ever had and would stay again at this home or any other home he hosts without hesitation. The cactus home is luxurious and has amazing amenities like heated bathroom floors, great outdoor space with pool and hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen.

My family had a great time , house was clean and It was great to have each bedroom with its own bathroom and TV . Pool was warm and that was a plus for our family . We definitely recommend Dan' s Home .

all great accept there were only one trash bag... I had buy some trash bag.. and need to upgrade fry pan. we couldn't do egg fry due to stuck on the pan. other than that need little touch up with paints... hahaha 😆 😂 Great location and great house...
