This stay is truly one of a kind — nestled deep in nature, surrounded by lush greenery, mountains, the soothing sound of bird calls, and nearby water streams and waterfalls. It’s a peaceful escape like no other. The road leading to the property is quite rough, as it’s located within a private estate so that’s understandable. I highly recommend arriving before dark, as the road is not ideal for night driving. The stay itself is comfortable, and the staff are incredibly polite and helpful — they go out of their way to assist in any way possible. The food is decent. Overall, this place is amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway in nature.

My wife and I were yearning for a peaceful weekend getaway from the hustle bustle of Bangalore city life, and Chandan's cottage offered what we dreamed of. Nestled deep in the lush forest, this hideaway offered a rare and magical connection with nature. The large glass windows framed breathtaking views of trees swaying gracefully in the wind and shimmering under the gentle rain, creating a living painting. The balcony is a tranquil spot where you can soak in the soothing sights and sounds of the surrounding forest. Throughout our stay, the symphony of the forest- birds chirping, insects stridulating- kept us delightfully guessing about the mysterious creatures around us. 1. Around 45 minutes from Chikmagalur and 30 minutes from Belur — close to Mudigere and Nandipura. 2. The cottage is in a big 25-acre coffee estate — quiet and nicely made. 3. It has two cosy rooms and a small kitchen with a microwave, fridge, toaster, and water purifier. 4. The host is kind, helpful, and knows the area well. 5. The food was really tasty — we enjoyed every meal. 6. Great place to relax and do nothing. 7. Weather was perfect in mid-May — around 18°C at night. 8. It feels private, but now and then you might hear trucks or buses going by.

This is a perfect place if you are a pet parent like us and are looking for a place with home cooked food and serene surroundings around you. It has a beautiful stream at a walkable distance where you can play with your pet. You can also go for a trek which is guided by a local and gives you a beautiful view at the hill top. The Homestay is taken care by Sakshath and his parents who are very warm and welcoming. Honestly, it felt like home and we were taken very good care of.

Amazing property, peaceful surrounding, clean linens, and great food. Geetanjali was very helpful and accommodate to our needs during the stay. Happy and Doodle are the sweetest furry friends, they made our trip extra special.

We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable and overlook a beautiful valley. The hosts were the sweetest folks. All our needs were promptly addressed. The food was absolutely delicious and the highlight was definitely the dogs! They brought so much joy and warmth to our stay. If you’re an animal lover, you’ll absolutely adore this place. The place was great, but the dogs made it unforgettable!

We had a very nice stay with our fur babies. With the mountains in the backdrop, The sunset view from the property is something out of this world. Would love to come back again.
