Absolutely stunning home near Lucca. Authentic Italian style. Feels like you’re stepping into the Middle Ages. The drive up is a scenic adventure with breathtaking views. The house has everything you need and more. Super friendly and helpful host. Incredible value for money. Truly the best place I’ve ever stayed!

We hebben een week doorgebracht in het huis van Stella en Tessa. Het is een sfeervol en authentiek ingericht appartement. Het ligt tussen de bergen omringd door olijfbomen maar steden zoals Lucca en Florence liggen niet ver weg. Het huis was heel schoon en lekker koel bij warme temperaturen. Er is voldoende schaduw rondom het huis. We hebben een kookles bij Stella gevolgd, dit was leerzaam en heel gezellig. Stella bedankt voor je vriendelijkheid, de heerlijke Italiaanse gerechten en je tips over de omgeving. Groeten, Margret en Toin

Wie auch die anderen Gäste waren wir rundum zufrieden und wurden unglaublich herzlich empfangen. Es ist eine ganz wundervolle Familie. In der Unterkunft war alles vorhanden was man zum gut leben und für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt. Wir haben tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen bekommen und uns total wohl gefühlt. Francesco ist ein sehr charmanter, hilfsbereiten Gastgeber, mit dem wir nette Gespräche hatten. Ganz besonders toll fanden wir die Fürsorge für Kinder. Unser Kind liebte die bereit gestellten Spielzeuge, den grossen Garten und die Katzen. Ganz klare Empfehlung.

Amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Lucca hills. Very peaceful. Lots of birdsong. We saw a deer in the garden! The grounds are brilliant and the place is the perfect size for a couple. We loved eating on the terrace with the great view, and swimming in the private pool. Only a short drive to Lucca which has some amazing restaurants (our favourite was Osteria de Pasquale). There’s some great vineyards in the area - our favourite was Fattoria Sardi. If I was reading this review I wouldn’t think twice about booking!

This place is absolutely stunning! Alessandro is the most amazing host- very flexible with our late check in and early leaving time- even brought us a cappuccino at 3:30am before we left! Couldn’t recommend more- we will definitely be back- thank you for the most amazing stay!

Lovely little place, perfect for a couple. Very peaceful, absolutely beautiful scenery. Very clean, with an amazing host. Would happily go back. The only thing I would say is, that the drive to the property can be challenging for drivers who don’t have a lot of confidence. Other than this, it’s an amazing house, lots of character, we loved it!

Loved this place. Exactly what we needed after a trip in Rome. Filipo clearly has a passion for plants and we absolutely loved his gardens. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore this region. We had a rental car and were able to explore and enjoy everything- Florence, Pisa, Siena, Crete senesi and San gimignano.

Micaelas lejlighed er et perfekt sted til 100% afslapning og dejlige vandreture. Lejligheden har alt hvad der skal bruges. Og der er mange dejlige udendørs opholdssteder. Landsbyen er rigtig hyggelig, og der er fine stier der til. Og mange andre steder at vandre. Michaela hjalp med bagage transport, da det sidste stykke op til huset ikke er til lave biler, også det var rigtigt godt. Der var rigtig god service fra Micaelas side under hele opholdet. We had a very relaxing week at Franco’s property. The place was well appointed including the full kitchen and we really enjoyed sitting outside with a glass of wine looking over the beautiful countryside. A perfect retreat. Highly recommended

We have stayed in Robyn's house for our trip to Tuscany. The place is lovely, well located for those travelling with car, as there are lots of parking (paid just in front of the house, and free within a short walk). The house is just a 10 minutes walk from Lucca's walls. As we wanted to visit different places around Tuscany (and the Lingurian coast), this served as the perfect home base for our travels. Being situated outside of the walls (which are within a limited traffic zone), was the best call for us, and served us perfectly for easy visiting the region. The house is great, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were struggling with the heat wave, so it was very nice to come back home and have a nice AC to cool the family down. The nice terrace is also great, perfect for enjoying some outside aperitivo. Finally, Gabriella, our host, was amazing. Helpful, reactive, providing lots of tips, suggestions, and always responsive.

Térésa et son époux sont tres sympathiques et discrets. Le logement est très confortable, très propre et situé dans un quartier tres calme. La région est magnifique. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir chez Térésa.

Wir haben unsere 4 Wochen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen ruhigen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Der Außen- und Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt. Sollten im zweiten Appartement Gäste sein, kann man sich dennoch sehr gut zurück ziehen und die Stille genießen. Für Kinder gibt es genügend Spielgeräte die mit genutzt werden können. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Walter ist wahrscheinlich der beste Airbnb Host, den wir je hatten :) Würden wir jedem empfehlen! San Miniato ist ein super Ausgangsort, um mit dem Zug zu Städten wie Florenz oder Pisa zu fahren! Sehr entspannter Ort :)

Die Unterkunft lag sehr privat am Dorfrand. Man muss mit dem Auto einen schmalen, kurvigen und teilweise steilen Weg entlang fahren. Zum Glück gab es nie Gegenverkehr und die Nachbarn verhielten sich zuvorkommend. Dafür ist der Außenbereich sehr ruhig und idyllisch, fast paradiesisch. Das Highlight ist der private Pool mit zauberhafter Aussicht. Die Gastgeber wohnen direkt unter der Wohnung, aber das ist ein Vorteil, da es die Kommunikation sehr erleichtert. Außerdem haben sie zwei tolle Hunde. Mirko hat uns gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Parkmöglichkeiten gegeben, was unseren Urlaub bereichert hat. Die Wohnung hat eine ausreichende Größe und sie ist so eingerichtet, dass man sich direkt zuhause fühlt. Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen Urlaub und die Unterkunft hat einen großen Teil dazu beigetragen.

I am an older, male, English speaking, solo traveler and photographer who loves Italy. From my point of view Lucca is an excellent destination, this Airbnb apartment is the best place to be if you are looking for an Airbnb, and Silvia has the qualities that I most appreciate in a good host: she communicates well in English, she reacts quickly, and she answers my questions as they arise. An excellent host is not a host that guarantees your stay will be problem free - an excellent host is a person who effectively deals with problems as they arise. Silvia is an excellent host. I hope to return to Lucca in the future and I will aim to again stay in this apartment with Silvia as my host.

Giulia was really responsive and gave clear instructions. The Airbnb was lovely, very clean and we settled in very quickly! Would definitely stay here again if we return to Pisa!

It’s just not possible to accurately state in an Airbnb review how otherworldly this place is— this home and its location and community (Mony and The Top Bar!!!) were unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. We will D R E A M of coming back someday! We’ve been traveling Europe with our three children for the past three months and this was my favorite Airbnb out of all we’ve ever been to. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian village getaway — this is it. Please don’t miss your opportunity!

Pietro is a wonderful host. Collected us from the Airport , arranged a taxi when we left. gave lots of useful recommendations. the apartment was super clean and comfortable. It's on a busy road, so don't expect it to be quiet! Great views from the outdoor seating balcony space. we had a great time in Pisa 😁

We had a wonderful stay in Lucca! The house was beautiful, spacious, and very well equipped – perfect for a family. We especially loved the large terrace and the peaceful atmosphere. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the historic center. Our host was kind, helpful, and made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended – we would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay with Elena! It is a great location, fantastic place, and was exactly as we expected. It looks just like the photos, is very spacious, and we felt right at home. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

Every corner of this house tells a story, you feel spoiled by the design and comfort, it won't take long until you'll feel like home. Easy to discover the surroundings (seaside, Pisa and Lucca are at 30 min, Firenze at 40 min, Montecarlo, Vinci, Collodi - nearer), Gaia will give you local tips and will help you with everything. Highly recommended for medium and long stays.

What an amazing find Pauline's Apartment was. The apartment was exactly as described and shown in Pauline's advert. The apartment was a perfect base for our stay in Pisa and within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and the local train station. This made it so much easier for travelling to other parts of Tuscany. Pauline was so welcoming also and very informative with details that made finding and accessing the apartment stress free. I'd highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to stay in Pisa
