Cottage holiday rentals in Zgornje Gorje

The apartment is very nice, perfect for 3 families. There is a large kitchen, 3 bathrooms, a shared living room with a large table and 2 nice sofas, parking for 3 cars. In addition, the bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable. Klemen is a very attentive and kind host, immediately ready to help you and meet our needs. Beautiful experience in Podkoren, very close to Kranjska Gora with the possibility of many activities suitable for families.

The chalet is a great place to stay. It has a lot of character. Vesna was a great host.

This is truly the dream place I was looking for on Airbnb. The house has a long history but has been beautifully renovated, so you can enjoy a very comfortable stay. The host is kind and warm, always happy to have a pleasant chat. Located in a small village, it’s the perfect spot to experience the peacefulness of Slovenia and enjoy the host’s cooking.

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

Everything was amazing, the house, the location, the breathtaking nature… We had wonderful 4 days here, had everything we needed, and more! There are many great hikes nearby, and Srednji vrh is a really peaceful beautiful small village. The house really has everything you need, and feels like at home. Both us and our dog were welcomed very nicely. Our dog didn’t want to leave at the end. Neither did we :)

We had a great stay! The house was super clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The wellness (sauna and bubble bath) were a blessing. The location was perfect, quiet yet close to lake Bohinj (although in advance we thought we were even closer to the lake). The host was super friendly and proactively suggested replacing the towels. There was also an offer to supply breakfast. A super house and a great host, we enjoyed a successful holiday.

Alles bestens!! Das Haus hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht, ideale Lage und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchen könnte. Die Kommunikation mit Nela war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder :)

Wir hatten eine traumhafte Woche in Mojstrana und können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Vom ersten Moment an war Ana immer erreichbar, hilfsbereit und hat uns mit tollen Tipps rund um die Region versorgt. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders genossen haben wir die ruhige Terrasse mit Blick auf die Berge – ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in den Triglav-Nationalpark. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben. Wer die Natur liebt und eine tolle Gastgeberin sucht, ist hier genau richtig - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Cecilija ist eine sehr offene und bemühte Gastgeberin und gibt tolle Tipps für die Gegend. In der Unterkunft ist vieles bereits vorhanden (z.B. Küchenrolle, Gewürze, Öl, etc.), das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder. Vielen Dank!

We had a great stay at Croccus Cottage and felt at home. The nature is beautiful, the people are very friendly. A perfect place for all sorts of outdoor activities (hiking, biking and much more). We would definetly love to come back, both in summer as well as in winter times.

Wir waren zu zweit mit Hund für 7 Nächte bei Franzes. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ruhig und perfekt, mit einer entspannten Atmosphäre und viel Privatsphäre. Das Haus ist urig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man für einen tollen Urlaub braucht. Die gesamte untere Etage inkl. drei Bereiche im Außenbereich waren nur für uns. Besonders schön war, dass es täglich frische Eier von den Hühnern gibt, die man sich selbst entnehmen darf. Frances ist eine ruhige, sympathische und sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die jederzeit für uns da war. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Für Reisende mit Hund ist noch zu erwähnen, dass die Unterkunft sehr hundefreundlich ist. Es gibt Wiesen rund ums Haus, sodass die Hunde viel Freilauf haben. Alles war bestens vorbereitet und es war sehr schön – sowohl für uns als auch für unseren Vierbeiner.

Very cozy house located at a beautiful location with amazing sights. We really enjoyed our stay as we are a fan of such traditional houses with traditional interior which is combined with modern solutions. Hope to return one day!

We had a lovely stay here! The location is absolutely beautiful and tranquil. We loved waking up and hearing and seeing the sounds of the Julien Alps- it physically hurt us to leave! The house is a relatively recent build but was built entirely in the traditional way with no corners cut. It felt like we were immersing ourselves in the traditional Slovenian alpine way of life and we loved it! Wonderful hot showers too. Thank you to Ana and her mom!

Beautiful chalet just 5 minutes from the lakeside and with a stunning view of the mountains surrounding Bled. The apartment is furnished in a really classy and simple way that makes brilliant use of the space and it is spotless. The hosts live next door and are friendly and there for anything you need (but it still feels very private). If you want to be away from the bustle of Bled but still at the heart of things this apartment is perfect. We also really recommend the Garden Village restaurant just down the road. It's worth noting that the tourist tax is requested in cash at the end of your stay and several of the ATMs in Bled charge you to use them, so worth having that ready in advance.

We stayed in the cottage for four nights with our baby and our dog. We visited Bled and the National Park from here and really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well-equipped with beautoful interior and small but very cozy, optimal rather for two adults without kids. The garden is not fully enclosed, which was not a problem for us but dog owners should know. You can reach Bled by car within a few minutes (but parking in Bled is expansive), a 40-minute hike to Bled starts directly at the cottage or you can take the bikes for free :)

Cvetka is a fantastic host! She gave us recommendations on what to see, where to go and available hiking trails. When we checked in, we had a nice & tasty surprise. The apartment was really clean and had all you need to spend a few days in a peaceful environment. Definitely recommending!

La casa è davvero bellissima: spaziosa, pulita e attrezzata con tutto il necessario per un soggiorno comodo e piacevole. La zona è tranquilla e immersa nel verde, ideale per rilassarsi o esplorare la natura; molte attrazioni interessanti si trovano nei dintorni. Urška è stata un’host gentilissima, sempre disponibile ed attenta. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e speriamo davvero di tornare presto! Marina&friends

Barbara is een super host. Het huis voldoet echt aan alle verwachtingen. Rustig gelegen in een prachtige omgeving. Het huis is ook heel compleet. Alles wat je maar zou wensen is aanwezig, ook in de keuken . We voelden ons echt thuis in dit huis. Barbara is ook een attente gastvrouw die snel reageert. Kortom we hebben een week volop genoten. We stayed at Barbara and Tomaz’s home during a visit to Lake Bled. The location honestly could not have been more perfect! It’s an easy and quick drive— you are close to everything! This was perfect for our baby who still has small wake windows so she could nap but we were still able to go and see things. The home itself was very easily accessible with parking out front! The interior was very clean and warm. The hosts were so kind to provide coffee and delicious homemade strawberry jam! The only note i would make is that the stairs are very steep and slightly daunting. However, my husband’s 70 year old grandparents were able to go up and down the flights and we were able to carry up our infant.

We had a wonderful stay and only wish we could have extended our trip! The house is really well-appointed and furnished, with handy information leaflets and a booklet listing local amenities. This is the perfect base for exploring Lake Bled and further afield if, like us, you would like to leave the hustle and bustle of Bled behind and retreat into peaceful nature at the end of a long day's sightseeing! We especially enjoyed eating outside and the fact that there is a supermarket just a couple of minutes' walk away. We were able to leave the car on the drive for the duration of our stay and walk to Vintgar Gorge, as well as take the bus to Bled and Ljubljana as there is a frequent service from the nearby stop. Bača was great at answering any questions we had and her house was beautiful, clean and really spacious. We would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area in the future.
