An old horse stable with boxes and workshop, was remodeled by me to a rustic and original apartment. Many animals from the farm come very close and want to be begged or petted. Extra bookings can be made: breakfast, billiard basement as well as a charcoal grill and a simple kitchen available 10 meters away. Since the property is in the middle of an animal husbandry facility, no standard should be expected as in a Hilton in order not to be disappointed.

The Dortmannhof is a listed former farm from the 18th century. It is located in the middle of the big city of Essen, but still centrally located and at the tram and subway stop. Within walking distance is the site of the UNESCO World Heritage Zollverein as well as a network of bicycle paths. The Berlin architect Prof. Sigurd Larsen has designed a guest unit in the form of a "house in a house" that is freely accessible and rented here.
