We're a Dutch couple whose lodge is nestled in the mountains of Madarao in Japan. Our lodge provides capacity for a max of 20 guests divided over 5 units. Our cozy, comfortable space makes for a great base to explore the mountains around the region. During winter, we offer private ski/snowboarding lessons, and side and backcountry guiding. We cater to guests during all other seasons too and offer fine dining experiences during your stay. We aim to create the perfect vacation experience for you!

Cozy alpine guesthouse cabins with in-house natural hotspring baths in the forested highlands of Japan's epic 3000m Nagano Alps, offering the closest possible accommodation to the "Roof of Japan" - the Alpine Route and Takase hiking treks. Hakuba ski resorts start 15 minutes away. We also have a compact music studio in the main lodge with guitars, bass, keyboard and electronic drum kit - suitable for a small group of musicians with space for 3 to 4 players and 6 to 8 intimate audience seats.

We do not accept advance reservations for meals. If you would like to dine, please place your order directly at the restaurant. Red Gate Lodge is located at 620 metres within the Kōsha Mountain ski area, offering ski-in/ski-out access to Snow Resort Romance of Cupid. This room accommodates up to two guests with mattress bedding. Extra charges apply for three or more guests. Room 101 has no toilet on the same floor; please use the shared toilet on the second floor.

※最後までお読みの上ご予約ください※ 赤倉温泉街から徒歩約20分のサンモリッツの森に建つロッジ、手作りの檜の二段ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞのお部屋です｡ バス(シャワー又は家族風呂)・トイレ(男女別)は共用で、ラウンジ、ダイニング、キッチン等共有スペース自由に使えます。Wifi 無料、冷暖房完備、簡単な朝食付き。カフェ＆バーメニューあり。事前のご予約で夕食もご用意できます。 多くの荷物をお持ちの場合、3-4人での利用は狭くなります。ベッド上段は天井が低く、座ることは出来ません。 当館への飲食物お持ち込みはOKですが、お部屋での飲食はご遠慮いただいております。キッチン、ダイニング、ラウンジでお願いします。お酒などの空き瓶はお持ち帰りください。（カン・PETボトルはリサイクルゴミ箱あり） 温泉街までは坂が続きます。冬期は歩くと20分かかります。 冬期の敷地内駐車場のご利用は四駆限定となります。ご予約の際に必ず車種と四駆である旨をご連絡ください。
