This is an old private house built more than 100 years ago, like a Kyoto townhouse, located on the Otaki-jo Castle Town Street, called Boso's Little Edo. Otaki Castle (one of the Tokugawa Ieyasu Shitenno Honda) and nationally designated important cultural properties are preserved, and the old castle town, which is rare in Chiba, spreads nostalgia. The bamboo shoots of Otaki are famous for their low bitterness and delicious taste, and are best eaten from late March to late April. If you take another step, you will find a location with sea, mountains, rivers, valleys, and black water hot springs.(Within 10-30 minutes by car) You can use it as a base to enjoy the nature of Boso.Lake Takataki is famous worldwide for its Wakasagi fishing, the magnetic reversal that occurred hundreds of thousands of years ago, and the Chibanian.(The visitor center is scheduled to open in 3 years) The facility is located in a place overlooking the Isuzu River, and the ground is bedrock. If you come by car, it will be 20 minutes from Ichihara Tsurumai IC on the Ken-O Expressway. It takes 80 minutes by express bus from Tokyo Station to Otaki. It is less than 1 hour by car from Haneda Airport and 1 hour and 10 minutes by car from Narita Airport. It is conveniently located 90 minutes by car from Tokyo, 10 minutes on foot to the beach (Shirako Coast), and 1 minute on foot to a convenience store, making it popular with families with children. Outdoors, you can enjoy a barrel sauna and open-air bath (water bath available) while looking out at the palm trees and large garden. There is also a covered BBQ space and a fire pit on the wood deck. In addition, the entire yard is surrounded by a fence, so it is a private dog run. Indoors, there is a ping pong table in the playroom and board/card games in the living room. You can watch Netflix on the large TV in the living room. The kitchen and dining room on the ground floor are popular for cooking and dining for large groups, and are close to the BBQ space and easy to use. We renovated the old house where my grandmother once lived as much as possible with our own hands. Kujukuri Beach, which is a short walk away, is a memorable place where relatives and friends have gathered and had a lively time. I wanted to make it a place full of smiles again, like it was back then, so I've been working on it little by little. Now, with high-speed fiber optic Wi-Fi and a sauna, it is a space where you can relax with your family, couples, and friends. One of the charming things about this house is that the cats that live nearby visit the garden at will. It is the perfect location for those who want to enjoy a quiet time by the sea.
