This is the location where the movie "Father of the Galactic Railroad" was filmed and released in May 2023.Mankatsu Shoten also appears in that movie.The scene in the used bookstore with Koji Yakushiro was filmed at this inn. You can get to the Iwamura Castle site on foot or by car.Come and see what battles you've had here. There are not a lot of tourists like other tourist destinations, so you can have the city life to yourself.Iwamura fans, please continue to come. After 4 pm, you'll be surprised by the eerie silence.Walking down the main street at night, you'll see a row of paper lanterns that look like paper lanterns, and it's very magical. On the "summer solstice" day, the sunset falls straight ahead of the street and you can see the very beautiful scenery.(Depending on the weather, about 1 week, around 6:30 pm, around mid-June of each year) We also operate retro kimono rentals and dressing in this building.If you would like to wear a kimono, please make a reservation.Guests staying with us will have a discounted price. A spacious, 221-year-old private house in the center of Tsumagojuku!

This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. Equipped with WiFi and an automatic lifting table, teleworking is also possible for long-term stays. Please have a relaxing time in this quiet old house. We look forward to seeing you ！

中山道の宿場町である奈良井宿の隣町に位置し、江戸時代から木曽漆器の産地として栄えた歴史ある町並み。重伝建保存地区に選定され、現在も漆器店が並んでいるこの町に、1931年に建てられました。 私たちの家は、お食事なしの一日一組限定、一棟貸し切りにてご利用頂いています。アクセスにも少し時間がかかり、スーパーやコンビニもないこの地域ですが、だからこそこの場所には、静かさと何気ない素朴な日々の美しさがあると思います。読書、散歩、地酒（日本酒・ワイン）を頂く、ゆっくり寝て起きるなど古きよきこの町で暮らすように滞在して頂けたら嬉しいです。 山の谷間の古民家で網戸はありませんので、暖かい季節になれば自然の生き物が入ってくることもあります。築95年の建物は細部までぴかぴかに磨き上げれている訳ではありません。できるだけ清潔にと思いお迎えの準備をさせて頂いておりますが、大きなお心でお越し頂けると幸いです。 皆さまに頂いたご宿泊費は建物の修繕に使わせて頂いていて、この素晴らしい家をまた次の世代に引き継げるように、まずは私が20年ほど大切に守っていきたいと思っています。
