Meulsteenvlei Cottages

Meulsteenvlei Cottages offers self-catering holiday accommodation just outside Nieuwoudtville and can host 4 guest in 2 cottages, perfect for a farm escape. Die Vrugtekamer can accommodate 2 guests and features a bedroom, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen with an indoor fire place. Additionally the cottage features an outdoor braai and a covered patio. The property also offers a nature trail that leads to a stunning view of the landscape. For added convenience, there is a solar power system.

Secluded Off-Grid Mountain Cottage

Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

Leopard Cottage, Small Warehouse Farm

Klein Pakhuis Farm is both a Cederberg Karoo farm and a nature conservancy. It extends up the eastern slopes of the Cederberg Mountains where it shares a fence-free boundary with the protected Cederberg Wilderness Area. The farm is blessed with pure natural spring water; blue-sky days; clear starry nights and utter silence. Varied wildlife thrives under the conservancy ethos of the farm, including Verreaux's Eagle, Rheebok, Grysbok, Aardvark, Caracal, and the elusive Cape Leopard.

Nina’s House at Buffelspad

Nina's house is one of two cottages on the Buffelspad private nature reserve. The property borders the Cederberg Wilderness Reserve and is located at an altitude of 850m. The Fynbos reserve is a botanists paradise with a wide variety of unique plants spread across the property. There are approximately 10km of breathtaking walking trails traversing the Middleberg mountains. A stay at Nina's House is the perfect antidote for stress and a chance to reconnect with nature.

Kom Kyk Cottage in Merweville

Kom Kyk Cottage is a charming self-catering cottage in the quiet Karoo village of Merweville. Once an original general store, it’s been lovingly restored with antique furnishings and true Karoo character (although some say it feels like Greece). The cottage sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms and offers a fully equipped kitchen, cozy lounge, free Wi-Fi, and shaded parking. Enjoy sunset views whilst having a braai and lie on the outside beds to gaze at the stars.

Lovely Olive Tree Cottage

This beautiful cottage is situated in the small Karoo town, Fraserburg. A typical small Karoo town with lots of character and beautiful people. It's an escape from the busy every day life to a place of raw beauty and open spaces as far as the eye can see. The closest town is 100 kilometers away assuring that you have the most spectacular views of sunsets and star gazing at night. There is 250 million year old dino-fossil footprints just outside the town.

Sweet Thorn Cottage is a charming, private retreat along our seasonal river in the beautiful Biedouw Valley. This traditional Cape Dutch-style cottage sleeps 4 and is fully equipped for a peaceful, self-catering stay. Enjoy mountain views, a cosy fireplace, outdoor braai, fire pit, and patio with daybed. Grysklip High Mountain Stone Cottage, Cederberg

This grey-stone cottage is built against a rock face which is a dramatic back wall for the interior. All the stone used for the walls was collected nearby, so the cottage disappears into the landscape. The views are spectacular in every direction. The interior is cosy with wooden floors and Cape furniture and Himalayan textiles. There are two 3/4 beds. The bathroom has a shower set against the rock-face, and there is a wonderful double outdoor bath.

This remotely situated Namaqualand cottage is situated 40km from Calvinia on a dirt road and offers an exclusive getaway destination for nature lovers. Nestled on a farm in the Hantam Mountains this cottage offers walking trails, open skies for stargazing, tranquility, lapa evening fires and a flower wonderland between August and October every year.
