Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Namib Desert

The Kingfisher house was perfect for our family trip, and is actually as stunning as it looks in the listing photos! We had a family of 6 staying in the house, and it felt perfect for our size. The living room was open and spacious that was perfect for game nights, and we really enjoyed the pool, even if it was very chilly. The kitchen came stocked with all the things you need to make a home cooked meal and was very clean. The only thing to watch out for is the difficulty in finding the house. If you follow the written instructions that Muftau provides, you should find the place with no trouble, but we still found that others had a difficult time in finding the house. We actually missed a sunset cruise because the tour company could not find the house at all. Otherwise, it was an absolutely amazing stay, and we’ve already recommended the space to others who are traveling in the area soon!

Fabulous stay in this very quaint village, truly a special find. we loved the beautiful decor in the house, everything was exceptional and beautiful and tasteful. Thanks to Madeleine for a warm welcome and great recommendations on the village eateries , Karoo Artist cafe was such a win for yummy lamb chops!!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. Everything was just as described – clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The surroundings were peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Magrieta was friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the overall atmosphere of the place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and pleasant getaway.

Loved the place, good stop between Namibia and SA. One thing ;-) please fix the water pump outside , the noise is a bit of a nuisance.

The home is large and spotless. very well kitted out. The garden is ideal if you are travelling with dogs. Hosts were very responsive.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Inni Kraal. Firstly, I thought the price was more than reasonable ( a bargain actually!), especially for what you get. I had two large bedrooms to myself and a bathroom and kitchenette. The accommodation provider also conveniently owns a restaurant next door. Thus, you would not need to walk far to get some good quality food (although they only open at 17:00, do don't expect breakfast). There is safe parking in a courtyard. I would just add an extra safety lock on the front door that opens to the street. That said, there was a security guard outside for most of the evening. The decor is Karoo-chic and minimalistic; yet, still stylish with an element of luxury. The town as a whole is walkable and there are many cute restaurants and shops within the vicinity. The architecture is beautiful and old. All the houses in this area is probably more than 100 years old.

Mary’s place was lovely. It was warm and homey and close to most places Mary recommended such lovely restaurants We highly recommend it and hopefully be back very soon. The skylit roof was everything, the lighting 👌🏿. Would just recommend a full body mirror but thats very minor.

Elsa's place was absolutely ideal for our self catering trip. It is perfectly located between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. The facilities are excellent and exceeded our expectations. Elsa was the perfect host. She was fruendly, communicated extremely well, provided excellent recommendations and was super responsive. We really appreciated that. Her place offers very safe secure lock-up parking and is generally very secure. We felt very safe. The facility is on the ground floor and is right on the Langstrand beach. We loved staying here and reccommend it highly.

Thank you for a great stay! We enjoyed the convenient location between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. It was amazing to watch the sun setting over the ocean and at the same time the moon rising over the desert.

What an exquisite apartment perfectly located in a quite neigbourhood close to town. If you looking for a really good place at a very competitive rate, look no further, just book and enjoy.

This is a house in the city center, very convenient for getting around, the yard is very beautiful, and it is a pleasure to sunbathe in the morning.The bathroom is clean, the water pressure in the shower is very strong, this is my favorite point
