Beachfront holiday rentals in Nanoose Bay

Absolutely stunning location - saw loads of wildlife from the terrace, and an amazing view over the water. Property was also very well supplied with a super modern kitchen and ample bed and bath space. Will be back!

I stayed at Lauri's place for a week while working remotely, and it was exactly what I needed. The deck offers a great view - perfect for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The area is quiet and peaceful, I could really focus during the day and relax afterwards. Even though it wasn't a vacation, I left feeling recharged. The cabin, though small, was well-equipped and comfortable, and the natural beauty around made it a memorable experience.

Had a wonderful stay, our pups had a great time, just walked across the street and we were on the beach. The road in front is a dead end with more people walking on it than cars! Wonderful view out the bank of windows - even saw a Black Bear early one morning walk down the driveway. Place was well stocked and exactly what a rustic cottage should be.

An amazing weekend away in Gibsons! Our hosts Amanda and Dean are so lovely and we felt right at home. The view from the deck was spectacular, the suite well appointed and so cozy and comfortable. Loved the beach across the road, the peaceful quiet location and super easy access to the ferry. Highly recommend and already planning our next trip back!

Gill and Sue are fantastic hosts, they are very friendly, responsive, helpful and proactive in their communication. Their cabin is just fantastic and located within a beautiful area, literallyon the beach front. "Sleeping under the stars" was a very apecial treat. When we can, we will definately be back. Lori's suite was so lovely - what a location! The guests were quite busy working (the reason for their stay), but they still enjoyed their time in the suite. Fresh baked cookies and a lovely bottle of wine welcomed them. Lori was great at communication and fast to respond to any questions. A great place to stay, definitely value for your money, and wonderful hosts. Thank you!

Lisa’s cottage was just beautiful. Lisa had thought of everything and has really made sure that the cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a great stay.

This lovely studio suite was just the place for myself and a long ago friend to reconnect - a bit smaller than I envisioned, and no kitchen (not sure why I thought there would be one) - it was a bit like having a girl's sleepover from high school. The amenities were fantastic, with no problem at all using the card. The evening sunset view was gorgeous, and morning breakfast & coffee on the patio was lovely. Very quiet and peaceful. Every person met in passing were gracious and kind. This is truly the kind of place I could enjoy more often! The bed was very comfortable, the towels & linens were fine, the coffee delicious... all in all, a great experience! Thanks Kim.

Our family stayed for four nights and we had a wonderful time. The studio suite was larger than what we expected and it has a nice patio area. The kids loved the bunk bed. There was a good size desk to get some work done. We have stayed at Pacific Shores for many times over the years and it has all the amenities onsite while being very close to Parksville.

We can’t rave enough about our stay. From the moment we walked in and the attention to detail. We were blown away by the thoughtfulness of Barb and Randy to our personalized surprise. They are top notch hosts! The pictures do not do this place justice. It is a beautiful gem and we will be back. Love the unit, the scenery, the resort and the area.

We had a great time. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and the cabin is cute. The setting is amazing and Sally and Dale were very helpful and nice. This is the perfect little vacation for a family with young children - it felt like a tropical vacation when we were in the pool in May. Thank you!

Beautiful apartment with a really nice unobstructed sea view. Everything just like in the photos, clean and lots of natural light. I really enjoyed the beautiful bathroom…very nicely done. The bed is huge and very comfy as well. The view from the rooms and balconies is exceptional and really lovely. The whole property is really nice and well maintained. Especially enjoyed the bbq areas and fireplaces in the common areas. Communication was very good and check in instructions easy and clear. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the sea and nature of Vancouver Island. You would definitely need a car there, as there is not so much to do in a walking distance. Closes town is approx. 5 - 10 min. Drive. Ferry in Nanaimo about 20-30 minutes. Very convenient!

The Fat Cat Inn gave us everything we needed for a weekend of laughter, rest, and reconnection. Patrick and Melanie have clearly poured so much love into this space—every corner felt intentional, inviting, and comforting. The quiet beauty of Denman Island paired with the warmth of this home made for the perfect girls’ weekend. Thank you for giving us a place to slow down and make memories. We’re leaving full of gratitude! The fresh baked cookies were such a pleasant surprise!

This place is really special and exactly as it looks in the photos (but better in person!) We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace in the mornings, and listening to the local birds in the trees that surround the cabin. The view from the terrace is really magnificent!! We also indulged in the wood fired hot tub to make the most out of the beautiful forest surroundings. This stay was really one to remember, and I'm already dreaming about coming back another time. The roadside parking space had plenty of room for one car, two vehicles would be a tight squeeze.

This was a perfect place to stay while we were visiting Vancouver Island. The location made it easy to explore other areas of the Island as a day trip. The condo itself is situated right across from the pool and hot tub as well as the beach trail which we were able to enjoy while we were staying. Overall, the condo is equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant stay and the host was easy to contact and responded quickly. I would recommend this airbnb!

The unit is the main floor of a beautiful new house. It’s pristine. Both bedrooms had big comfy beds. The kitchen had everything we needed including a bottle of wine. But the highlight is the view of Departure Bay. We watched a seal in the morning while sitting on the patio with our coffee. In the evening the ferries pass with gleaming lights. We walked on the shore. There were people swimming a little distance away. Sailboats on the horizon. A hovering eagle. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Every detail — from the cozy linens to the thoughtfully stocked kitchen — made it clear they truly care about their guests’ experience. This place is a gem. We left feeling rested, refreshed, and already dreaming about our return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape by the sea.

Our stay was fantastic from beginning to end. This beautiful suite with a great view was just what we needed. It was clean, spacious and felt like home. Gary and Annemarie were exceptional hosts. Our morning latte and a huge breakfast was an excellent way to start the day. This is one of those trips that will never be forgotten because of the warmth and friendliness of our hosts. Gary’s omelettes and scones were a special treat not to be missed. I enjoyed spending time decorating shells with Annemarie - her knowledge of the island is vast! This is one of those rare gems that exceed all expectations. We will be back!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Lilian’s place! It’s homey, comfortable and clean and the setting is just gorgeous. We enjoyed the beach access and amazing view and even made use of the fire pit area. It felt like a great location in relation to all of the hikes/exploring we did. We would definitely stay here again - highly recommend!

We stayed here with our two young kids. We had an excellent time! It was great being on the ground floor and having access to the beautiful grassy area with a little fairy garden. The unit had everything we needed and the laundry was a great asset. We had a blast looking at all the creatures along the creek and in the tidal area! We loved the pool and hot tub! They were in excellent condition and just a short walk from the unit. We were visiting friends in the area and would definitely be back!
