Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Nantucket Island

My nephew and his family had such a great week on Nantucket. Douglas' home is very cool and authentic Nantucket with the wood paneling and everything simple and basic in all the best ways. It's a super private and peaceful spot. They felt very comfortable right from the start and loved everything about the house. Douglas was super friendly and available for questions and suggestions. They appreciate Douglas sharing his home and are already looking forward to returning.

If you’re visiting Nantucket staying at Connor’s is a must do. Very charming and super close to the beach. Quite neighborhood which is a great escape from how busy downtown can be. Nothing beats listening to the waves as you fall asleep instead of a sound machine.

Our stay at 260 Madaket Road was perfect. The house was walking distance to the shuttle to town. Short distance from the beach and the beautiful Nantucket sunsets. Michael was very responsive with our questions and was a great host. Would look to stay again next summer.

This is a very charming home in a nice quiet location with beautiful views out to Cisco beach. We had a great weekend stay, the morning sun on the deck was excellent. Would love to stay here again.

Absolutely incredible and relaxing stay. Waking up to hearing and seeing the water from our bedroom was a highlight of the trip. The house is very charming with everything you'd hope from a beach side property. Renting a car to get into town was a must, but this is well worth it for having a private beach house with a scenic walkable road. I'd absolutely recommend anyone who's looking for a relaxing stay to consider this property.

We enjoyed 2 weeks at this lovely cottage. The beach was an easy walk through the dunes, and at night we could hear the waves. The house is comfortable and very well equipped. We highly recommend this stay.

After knowing Nantucket for decades but feeing sadness at the development and change through the years, I always longed to visit Tuckernuck when eyeing it from Smith Point. As soon as I connected with John and heard about the Decoy, I knew it would be a trip like nothing else. Tuckernuck was truly stepping into the past. The property itself afforded acres of privacy, incredible sunrises, stargazing, and sky/sea-scapes, and excellent comraderie with yard games and visiting. The house is a museum where the love and history of generations is preserved, and was stocked with everything we could have needed. The island - well, I don't have the words to describe that. But something of another world for the adventurous and those who crave lack of modernization and a simpler time. My dog, group, and I had the trip and experience of a lifetime, and nothing can compare. Harry and Mark were above and beyond communicators and help despite challenging circumstances. We couldn't be more grateful.

We had a short but pleasant stay at Gail’s and the in-law apartment was perfect! Check in was easy and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with great snacks! This is a great location for exploring Falmouth and the rest of the Cape and Gail is super friendly and responsive. We hope to stay longer next time!

Michael was very responsive throughout the whole process. The place appeared exactly as it did in the photos. We felt right at home and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Loved the proximity to the beach and the ability to watch sunrises and sunsets over the water within a few min walk of each other!

Maria’s place was very clean, and we had a nice stay. Unfortunately, the pool was not filled when we arrived. However, Maria was very quick to answer and talk to the HOA. The directions to get to the Air BnB was easy. For those traveling there, put your GPS in to Apple Lane in Dennis and turn to the first right. We would stay again!

The place looks even better in real life than in the photos-very modern, well decorated, clean, GREAT LOCATION. Right in front of bike rental shop which is super convenient and the bike rental owner was also super helpful when we couldn't find the entrance. (airbnb was behind bike rental place) Only a 10 min bike ride to downtown or a 4min uber. Loved the balcony outdoor space and the views. Would stay here again if I had the opportunity. Couldn't get the dishwasher to work but wasn't a big issue because the place had so many plates and utensils we didn't need to reuse anything.

We had a a great time and really loved the location and communication with the host! The pond is practically the back yard and easy access to bring our kayaks in. Close to the bike trail and all of the awesome Dennis beaches. One of our best cape vacation homes we stayed at!

Andrea and Tracy were exceptional hosts! They were great communicators and it was clear they wanted us to get the most out of our stay in Cape Cod. The home was spotless and had every amenity we could possibly need. Their dogs are amazing and got along great with ours which made this home extra special for us! This was an unforgettable trip for sure thanks to Tracy and Andrea!

My group has stayed at Stephanie’s twice now and I really can’t say enough! You will not find a better spot for a big group to comfortable sleep and enough all the island has to offer. The house is beautiful with all the amenities you may need, no shortage of beds, and in a very walkable neighborhood, just a short drive to town. Stephanie is the kindest host, ready to help, and make sure you have the best stay possible. Don’t hesitate to book!

House was exactly as described and Lloyd was a very responsive and accommodating host. The house was in an amazing location, walkable to downtown for shops and restaurants. Big driveway was great for all our cars! Would recommend 10/10 and will be back! Thanks Lloyd.

We spent a relaxing week at Gabrielle’s beautiful home - mainly on the deck playing cards surrounded by beautiful vegetation. Great location with many walking paths through the woods - all of which seem to lead to the marketplace area and/or beach. The house is very nicely decorated and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was our first visit to Nantucket, and Robert‘s property was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. It was my husband and I and our three adult children, and we had plenty of room and everything that we needed, and more! We rented bikes and biked everywhere. It was also an easy walk into town as well. Thank you Robert for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will be back!

The house is extremely big, comfortable and cute. bedrooms are big, but the 1st floor bedroom definitely needs a new mattress. love the open concept of the kitchen, one thing I wish they had was a blender. Tom provided us with gallons of water which I am really thankful for it. The home was clean, beautiful backyard, quite neighborhood. Overall my family were comfortable, enjoyed our stay, and will definitely stay again.

Overall, the stay at Natalia's place was pleasant and memorable. We went there to celebrate a bachelorette and Natalia recommended places and restaurants to visit. The villa looks exactly as in pictures and is well equipped . The wifi was fast. The girls enjoyed the spa , yoga and massage. Some of us had fun with the smart toilets. Communication with Natalia was clear and prompt. Definitely consider staying again at Natalia's place! Thank you for hosting!
