The Nishimura Residence is a traditional Nara machiya (townhouse) that is over 110 years old.In 2019, I renovated “Grandma’s House,” where I spent a lot of time as a child, and opened it as an inn.Since the Nara machiya has been preserved in its original state, it may cause some inconvenience, and it is not a luxurious hotel where everything is provided. 　Instead, I believe there is no better place than Nara-cho to immerse oneself in the “comfortable rustic atmosphere” that permeates the town.We provide books in the room and a vegetarian breakfast in the hope that this environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the station, will help you with “introspection and recovery.”(You can purchase almost all of the books in the room.) 　Please spend this evening listening to your own heart's voice, surrounded by the tranquility of the Nishimura residence and Nara-cho.

This land with its old-fashioned townscape and famous water is hot in summer and cold in winter. But that's why the rice, vegetables, and meat are also delicious. There are many areas where nature remains, but few areas where the old townscape remains intact. I want to preserve this townscape. To that end, I want many people to experience a nostalgic way of life and culture. As such a place, we renovated a row house left by our ancestors and opened it as the Daiji, a soy sauce shop that had closed. You are always welcome! Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
