There are 2 jet ski lifts and room for a 20' boat. 2 Kayaks are also provided! At this time, lake levels at the house are full !! (There is a boat ramp in the neighborhood and community pier for fishing and swimming also). Use of Kayaks, boat dock, swimming or other activities is AT YOUR OWN RISK.

On any given day, as you drive up to the property, you may spot cattle, horses, sheep, goats, chickens, and guinea fowl. You’ll see sprawling fields, hay bales, wide open sky, and beautiful sunsets in the distance. The setting is serene, and mostly quiet...because it is the country after all!

Come enjoy our multi-level waterfront house on Cedar Creek Lake - a quiet retreat or family fun. Sit on the back porch & watch the sunrise or watch the kids swim, fish & kayak. 3 bedrooms & 1 bunk room; a cozy living room of windows overlooks the lake; separate TV room watching or games; dining room; large kitchen & breakfast nook. Bunk room has plenty of space for kids to play while adults visit in the living room. Kayaks, paddleboard, canoe, and fishing gear for guests.

Dawson Fish Camp

Secluded 8 acre fishing lodge, great for your next family get away or fishing with your buddies. Lake front Navarro Mills, fishing, kayaks, grill and fire pit. Boat available for rent or guided fishing on quiet lake with large catfish, plentiful crappie and nice bass. Dark sky for star gazing. Access to 3000 acres of public hunting for duck, deer and wild hogs. 1.5 hours south of DFW, 30 miles from Waco or Corsicana.

Sleeps up to 8, but also just right for a couples retreat. No matter the reason for your visit - your time will be well spent at "Sunshine & Whiskey"!

Hidden Getaway at Cedar Creek

This hidden getaway is ready to host you and yours, with gorgeous views and updated amenities! Relax and unwind with our fully stocked home with enough laundry and dishwasher detergent for a few loads! We are one of the few PET FRIENDLY hosts (with a max of 2 dogs) for an additional fee of $50 a night per pet to cover additional cleaning costs, as well as a $50 a night dock use fee- so bring your boat!
