The Buried House (La Casa Enterrada)

The "buried house" is the second project of the new touristic center called "Centinela de Matanzas". The name of the house comes from its exclusive design, It was built underground in a natural ravine to find a balance between the view of the sea and its surroundings, visually polluting as little as possible. The "burried house" has 110 square meters built on two floors embedded in a natural ravine and a terrace of 50 square meters above at 100 meters over the sea level.

Its avant-garde architecture is typical of the area, and is signed by Felipe Wedeles, star architect of Matanzas.

Walking distance to the beach and amazing view

The house is located in Chile's wind- and kitesurf mekka Matanzas. It has a wonderful view on the Pacific and is just a 2-minute walk away from the beach. The large terrace with its lounge area yields a perfect BBQ location. Unique is the top level dormitory where you will fall asleep with a direct view on the stars above you through the large panoramic window in the roof after having enjoyed the view on the sunset.

One-bedroom loft, it has a bathroom and the living room has a comfortable sofa bed. It has a spacious and high-rise atmosphere. Views of the countryside, sea and other houses in the area.
